President Donald Trump said Saturday we want to make everything here as he promoted his America First agenda during an appearance in Cleveland, days before the states primary election.
Trump spent several hours in Ohio meeting with supporters and participating in a roundtable designed to highlight the benefits of the new Republican tax law. Striking a celebratory tone, Trump listed his poll numbers and recounted the successes of his first year in office. He also looked ahead to his meeting with North Koreas Kim Jong Un.
We have the time and place all finished, Trump said, but he wouldnt predict the outcome of the talks, saying, well see what happens.
Trump criticized U.S. immigration policy, saying people entering the U.S. illegally are taking advantage of catch-and-release practices and dont show up for their immigration court dates. He said: We may have to close up our country to get this straight.(continued)

You mean like rolling back regulations, lowering unemployment, dealing with North Korea, lowering taxes, cutting food stamps, strengthening the military, a booming economy and getting allies to pay more for defense?
How about a little action on immigration. Talks it up yet then we hear the numbers. And enforcement, where? If we are to deport millions, time is getting short to start.
This is the second time he has said ‘close it down’.
The first time was a week or two ago, and everyone interpreted as closing down the government. I think he meant the border then too.
OK.
There is no need to deport 30 million illegal immigrants. There is no need to build a wall on our southern border either.
The "rules-of-engagement" are the real problem. Let's suppose that we change them.
Lets try:
Mandatory use of the e-verify system by all employers - with substantial escalating fines for multiple violations and prison terms for corporate executives who commit systemic violations. Illegal immigrants should not be permitted to be employed in this country.
All official Government documents and business to be conducted only in English.
Illegal immigrants to be ineligible for any Government subsidies or welfare payments of any kind. Very specifically that would exclude their children from attending public elementary and secondary schools.
Removal of public officials found to be aiding or abetting violations of immigration laws. Prosecution and prison time for the most defiant ones.
Progressive taxes on remittance payments to Mexico based upon the number of arrests (not convictions) of Mexican nationals for any crimes in the United States - including immigration violations.
The way things are going, 20 years and you’re a big California.
Not likely Skippy
We been here a while.
GREAT!
oh is that what you meant by yall could walk away?
you should break away ASAP, and enforce your own illegal immigration laws. i worry about Texas turning purple. Ive lived in 2 places in Texas, both dem strongholds and both heavily invaded.
Limit immigration to brilliant men and beautiful women.
Ignore the judge if he attempts.
The exception I might grant is a marriage. If you marry a noncitizen they should be given a green card
If you can do it...DO IT.
Just do it already.
Don’t worry about it, it was Spain before it was Texas
So that makes the invasion acceptable?
well enjoy being a minority. I was born and raised there, and will happily never return.
Keep telling yourself that...Dippy.
H-1B and H-2B excepted of course.
Yup!
Now you've awakened the Ford/Chevy folks as WELL as the Mac/PC dudes; too!!!
Once upon a time we did make everything in the USA. If we hadn’t we’d not have been able to gear up fast for WW2. Thank DUMBO all our important industries went overseas.
