Why Walmart? When you have just scored 1.2 million you can afford to do it in front of Neiman Marcus.

If she had kicked 50% upstairs to the Clinton Foundation she would be at a luncheon in her name right now as an honoree.

She would have been out in five years. Darwinism at work.

She was not sentenced which means she did not die as a convicted felon. I believe whatever money she still has can’t be touched in any kind of forfeiture procedures. Ken Lay did the same thing which kept his estate intact for his wife and children.

Can’t say that I blame her. Not being ‘diverse’ and likely not having English as second (or higher) language, meant that she was ON HER OWN. No ACLU to help her, no ‘Justice Department’ to demand ‘equity’, and no dropping the case to keep her from being deported (after conviction).

Only one way out, for a person like her.

Sorry, don’t laugh at this woman. She was totally screwed up, had been a good employee, and possibly somebody else was manipulating her to steal the money.

She should have gone to sentencing but I suspect she wasn’t getting a lot of support from whoever set her up to do this.

An awful gesture, but that’s what suicides usually do. They think they’re “getting back” at people who hurt them and they’re so self-obsessed that they don’’t even think about the effect this will have on their kids, parents, friends or whatever.

Say a prayer for her and for those who had to deal with her suicide.

The taxpayers save the cost of incarceration, future parole hearings, and possibly future appeals of the conviction. She is no longer in a position to commit more crimes. Hmmm.

If you’re gonna steal a million bucks from your workplace, have the sense to skip the country like they do in the movies.

Sheesh.

What kind of company is run such that a part-time administrative assistant can embezzle that much?

Usually you have to be at least a book keeper to steal that amount.

Sad. Even if she had gotten away with it in this life it would have caught up to her in the next.

And life in prison would have at least cancelled the earthly debt before she would have checked out.

And maybe she could have learned to do some good deeds behind the bars.

All kinds of reasons to live, but she chose a one-way door to the dead. She couldn’t even take the cash with her.

And in front of Wal-Mart? How many people including children did she traumatize for life? As if she didn’t have enough to ‘explain’ already.

I'm surprised that nobody picked up on the thing most wrong about this story.

She admitted to her crime in January and here it is May and she was still walking around free.

Can anybody explain to me why it takes four months for a judge to sentence somebody who admitted to her crimes? Even worse, how is she allowed to go free? After admitting she was guilty!

Back in January, she should have been handcuffed and marched off to jail immediately upon admitting her crime. It should have taken a judge no more than 10 minutes to come up with a sentence that fit said crimes.

Had that been done, she'd likely be alive today.
