It was very warm today, but low humidity and breezy. We’ll be hot again tomorrow and imagine humidity might pick up since rain is heading our way.

Well, it was mighty hot today, and since it is still spring, the trees were not providing much in the way of shade.

So on our hike this morning, Penny just plunked herself down in the middle of the trail and refused to continue. I gave her some water, let her rest, as I stood around, and then we finally made our way back to the A/C car. It’s still pretty hot!

Glad it was a good day. Tomorrow being an light one makes it easy to look forward to. Ya get a head start on the weekend! LOL

Not a lot going on here today. Got a bunch of stuff done that needed doing, then ran a couple of errands. Celebrated Pixie’s lil girlies’ 1st birthday. Can’t believe it’s been a year since they were born. Where does time go?

No sign of the turkey today. Hubby’s been out at the garage most of the day and has kept his eyes peeled for it.
The kittehs were on the lookout for it, too, while they were out. None of them went very far from the back porch and deck.

I can’t believe I caught you before you took off for the night. It is lovely to sit out if I have lots of mosquito repellent handy. LOL!
