it was a b.s. ruling to begin with, claiming it was against minorities, etc...pure legal gibberish reasoning...

Only a liberal judge (aka , someone who’s not really qualified to be anything but a Starbucks barista) could interpret a law thusly.
It’s long past time for those types to require 24/7 protection.
Why?
Because they threaten you and I.
You know those types (ill educated marshmallow majors - including law) are NIMBY types.

So why are we not told the name of the judge who was rebuked?

"Judge James E. Graves Jr., an Obama appointee, wrote a dissent defending the lower courts ruling and saying the updated law can still be judged based on the original, discriminatory law."

Now without voter fraud the Democrats will only have two ways of winning elections in Texas: Lying and character assassination.

Good news for Atty. Gen. Paxton. But what about his securities fraud trial? When does it start, maybe in time to derail his reelection?

Voter fraud is an insidious attack on self government. Nothing will end our republic faster than a belief that the elections are rigged. If they are, then we have no reason to respect the outcomes, and will take matters into our own hands.

But the state legislature went back and made changes, and the 5th Circuit, in a 2-1 ruling, now says the new version cures what ailed the previous one.Other states wishing to implement voter ID would, IMO, be wise to copy the Texas version since it is court-approved and should stand the test elsewhere.
