Last weekend Comey said that he wished that Anthony Weiner had never been born. Why? Because the information on the Weiner laptop had the NYC FBI field office up in arms. They forced Comey to reopen the Clinton investigation. Comey said he expected the bad news on the laptop to leak out so he figured that opening and closing the case would sterilize the case and immunize Hillary from its consequences after she was elected.
But she wasn't elected. Instead Trump was elected. Now we have the the New York FBI going through Trump personal lawyer Cohen's files.
But why hasn't the New York FBI released the information on the Weiner laptop?
The date that Comey reopened the Hillary case was Oct 28, 2017. He closed the case again three days later. The democrats claim his reopening the case caused Hillary to lose the election.
Because it was all TOP SECRETS!!!!
I think that is on Rudy’s To-Do List.

Maybe but why hasn’t Chairman Nunes or Judicial Watch sued the FBI to get the info on the laptop. They have sued for a bunch of other info.
Why hasn’t Trump demanded to see the info on the laptop?
But did the plan include Mueller’s team getting the files from Trump’s personal lawyers?
Let’s see...there are about 8 ongoing investigations that have not yet let do public indictments, several grand juries seated, and an 14 month-long OIG investigation in process...can you think of any POSSIBLE reason that the information on that laptop might be required? Say, as evidence?
I swear the quality of postings on this place has dropped into the double-digit IQ range...

I sure hope the PATRIOTS in the NYPD cloned Weiner’s laptop (and kept the cloned copy) before turning the laptop over to the FBI who I would trust no further than a ninety year old man could piss.
If roles were reversed and this was an associate of Trump, you can be sure that Comey would have released the info to Mueller who would’ve leaked to the press, and the whole world would know by now what was on that laptop.

Might be true but you assume that the laptop is in the hands of team Trump.
Trouble is the laptop was last seen in the possession of the FBI New York field office. The same office that is now rifling through trump’s personal lawyer’s files and leaking what they find as fast as they get it.
They’re not on Trump’s side.
Further we have heard that Chairman Nunes threatened several FBI officials with impeachment if they didn’t release information. We have heard that Judicial Watch has sued the FBI for information.
But we have not heard Team Trump say anything about the files on the Weiner laptop.
It doesn’t add up.

I think NYPD did keep a copy - and said they’d release it if the FBI didn’t. Another thread said FBI threatened NYPD, so it never happened. I expect Giuliani has some inside info.
You’re right. The New York field office is no friend of team trump. All of the real G Men there resigned or were forced out after what happened in late Oct 2016
