Editor-at-large of The Weekly Standard, Bill Kristol, predicts Democrats will win back both houses of Congress in November, causing Republicans to turn against President Donald Trump.
“I think the chances of Democrats winning both houses are pretty good now,” Kristol said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “It’s obviously important if Democrats win the House and/or the Senate and changes the dynamics for the next two years. But the day after election day for Republicans, something you and I have talked about a lot, Joe, is very important.”
“That’s the moment where Republicans stop justifying the vote in 2016 for Donald Trump,” he continued. “They stop justifying working with Trump over the last couple of years. Gorsuch, the tax cuts, whatever. And they have to confront the issue, do you want to renominate Donald Trump for four more years? Are you confident enough that this is going well, that you’re going to sign on for another term.”

He was big into Leo Strauss and “Noble Lie” Plato.

Really, who cares what Kristol has to say about anything. Interesting that he has to go to MSNBC to spout his “wisdom.” Time to admit, Bill, you are a Democrat.

Bill Kristol isn’t just a lying sleaze and a crypto-leftist, he’s also consistently wrong in just about every single political prognostication that he’s made (which has never stopped him from making up his next round of BS). The good news is that if he’s predicting a Democrat landslide in 2018, the Democrats will actually wind up with a net loss of seats.
Taking the Senate will be tough this time, given the election in play. I don’t think they will. But, should they take just the house, life as we know it will be over. Very little gets done, now. Yes we have the tax bill, the cancelled ACA mandate, and Gorsuch. But if the Dems even just take the house, there well be a complete stalemate. Nothing will get done. Absolutely nothing.

It's interesting that their diagnosis of decadence, laziness, and stupidity only applies to others, never to themselves. Otherwise, they'd put their money where their mouths are and be replaced by Indian or Chinese guest workers (which, come to think of it, would probably be an improvement).
It is well past time when anyone on our side should allow themselves to be silenced by PC silliness or outright treason. Neither PC silliness nor out right treason is an acceptable substitute for the America vouchsafe by her Founders to loyal Americans. Gobbling insulting blather aimed at the rest of us is not a rational or respectable argument.
If the GOP loses the congress they have no one to blame but themselves. Trump has been thwarted by the GOP congress far more than the Democrats. They have had to do very little to stop Trump because the GOP is being shown for the mushy just left of center liberals they are by Trump and they resent the hell out of their cover being blown. They are expected to vote and behave like the conservatives they ran as and Trump blew that little 20 year con job to smithereens.
Trump will win re-election easy in 2020 and be the last Republican president. The deep state and leftist in the uniparty will see to that.
I just read an article, actually based on facts and logic, that flat out predicts GOP gains in both houses. The Blue Wave will be little more than a ripple.
