Editor-at-large of The Weekly Standard, Bill Kristol, predicts Democrats will win back both houses of Congress in November, causing Republicans to turn against President Donald Trump.
“I think the chances of Democrats winning both houses are pretty good now,” Kristol said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “It’s obviously important if Democrats win the House and/or the Senate and changes the dynamics for the next two years. But the day after election day for Republicans, something you and I have talked about a lot, Joe, is very important.”
“That’s the moment where Republicans stop justifying the vote in 2016 for Donald Trump,” he continued. “They stop justifying working with Trump over the last couple of years. Gorsuch, the tax cuts, whatever. And they have to confront the issue, do you want to renominate Donald Trump for four more years? Are you confident enough that this is going well, that you’re going to sign on for another term.”

Of course there’s no need for a 2018 “Blue Wave”, since Hillary won the 2016 election in a landslide and Trump so dragged down the Republican party that the Democrats ended up in control of both houses.
At least that’s what every major media outlet and pundit was predicting at the time.

It seems that being an asshole during the election wasn’t quite enough for Kristol. He feels the need to continue to be an asshole, just in case anyone forgets. Or maybe going on TV and saying bad things about Trump is the only way he can get his worthless self ON TV these days.
GOP-e RINOs like Kristol never really wanted power themselves. They want to be in the minority so they can complain. When given the actual authority to make policy...it turns out they pursue the same policies as those they want to complain about.
The true state of affairs is that the GOP is supposed to be the minority party. Damn Trump voters went and screwed up everything.
It’s clear that the pathetic Kristol is simply having a waking wet dream. He’s been reduced to irrelevance and his only escape is these strange fantasies.
Since this idiot is never right, predict a huge sweep for the repubs.
Hopefully one more bit of stupidity and miscalculation by Kristol will banish him from the public eye forever - but i’m not counting on it.
