Editor-at-large of The Weekly Standard, Bill Kristol, predicts Democrats will win back both houses of Congress in November, causing Republicans to turn against President Donald Trump.
I think the chances of Democrats winning both houses are pretty good now, Kristol said Wednesday on MSNBCs Morning Joe. Its obviously important if Democrats win the House and/or the Senate and changes the dynamics for the next two years. But the day after election day for Republicans, something you and I have talked about a lot, Joe, is very important.
Thats the moment where Republicans stop justifying the vote in 2016 for Donald Trump, he continued. They stop justifying working with Trump over the last couple of years. Gorsuch, the tax cuts, whatever. And they have to confront the issue, do you want to renominate Donald Trump for four more years? Are you confident enough that this is going well, that youre going to sign on for another term.

..And there will be much chaos and strife. And the People shall cry “who will save us.”

Finishing up his faery tale.
How sad that this guy has become unglued over Trump. I used to have a modicum of respect for him, but I have since cancelled my subscription to the Weekly Standard. He just can’t admit he was wrong and try to help our country out. How sad!
The hate of Trump is strong in this one.
Are we sure Republicans want to win.. ?
He and Ohio’s John Kasich should drift off to oblivion with a slow dance together.
Bill Kristol’s business is douchebaggery.
Had to fix that...
Hey Billy Boy either Free Trader globalism ends or the Republican Party ends. Take your pick prick.

If I want political predictions from a washed up nincompoop, well the list s long, most are often highlighted on msnbc.
I’ll walk away from the Republican Party and never look back before I stop justifying my vote for Trump.
I bet a lot of people agree.
I thought that turd retired...

I agree the Democrats will take both the House and Senate very easily. But Republican voters will not turn on Trump. The two reasons the Democrats will sweep is they do have an energized base, but also because Trump voters detest the Republicans in congress as much as they detest the Democrats. Trump voters are going to come out and vote for these people.
The onus is not on us to justify our vote for Donald Trump, but for them to justify their vote for Clinton.
These people must be driven from the GOP, as not only are they no help when it counts, they are a positive millstone around our necks.
Most of the Republican establishment are only tenuously aligned with Trump to begin with.
