A dog with perfect pitch! Gotta love that!
Aaaaaw, such sweet looking dogs, and beautiful paintings of them!
Howdy, MEG!
Good to see you tonight. Not often we’re here at the same time.
Hope all’s well with you these days.
Supper over, jammies on, laptop on the little wire shelf that I use for a desk when I’m propped up in the bed. I’m ready to roll! :)
It was darn nice here today. Not too hot, not too windy and not too sunny. Perfect! And the grass is finally turning green. Could use some rain, though.
Sorry it was icky there, but here’s hopes that it’s nice on Saturday so you can really enjoy your trek to the museum and that people can come see all the improvements that have been made!
Happy Thursday evening, lightman. Staying safe is a really good idea.
Ready for the weekend?
Sounds like you’re pretty well set. LOL
Lucky you, having such nice weather. Sure would be nice to get a little of that here. It was 45 degrees when I left for the meeting this morning but the wind chill was much lower. The wind was howling. It finally warmed up to a whoppin’ 52 but it sure didn’t feel that warm.
Not sure about wind tomorrow but at least it’ll be warmer. Saturday will be warmer still but windy as another front closes in.
But it’ll be a sunny day and people should feel like getting out, unlike last Saturday, and we’ll probably have a nice turnout at the museum.
Rest well, and be safe as you catch up.
?
The wind always makes things worse. LOL! Are you still brushing and de-linting uniforms or have they given you another job?
Did you know that one of the Trio eaglets died? Couldn’t pass a pellet. Poor little thing. :(
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...Odie looks happy on his ride. Did he ride with you?
Any weather improvement? Mid 50s here today.
Yes, it does. It’s still blowing tonight but not quite as hard. We want it to keep blowing a little so frost won’t form when the temp dips close to freezing before morning.
I’ll be doing the same job with the uniforms for quite a while. There are a LOT of them to clean up. Many have been brought up from MS already but there are still a whole lot down there. Plus the guy overseeing them at the museum has a collection as well.
No, I didn’t know about the Trio eaglet. I haven’t been checking on them as regularly as some of the others. Poor little bird. A bad way to go.
Hope you don’t get frost. Not good for that wheat or anything else growing around there!
Is this museum going to be able to house all the things coming from MS? That guy must have had a HUGE warehouse full!
Good evening, radu...still awake? Better weather yet?
Peg and I went to a Social Security seminar this afternoon. Excellent meeting, but raised a couple more questions. I think I’ll make an appointment before I apply.
Good evening, Mooch, and almost Gut Shabbos.
Are you having nice spring weather?
We’re praying for no frost. Won’t be good for the wheat at all. Not good for flowers either. Already lost three of the “Immortality” iris buds. There are still more, and there are a few blooms, but those are my favorite and losing any to this cold weather just stinks.
They’ll have to add on to the museum at some point. It’s not just one large building of items in MS. He has THREE of them and they’re crammed full. The museum is pretty good-sized but not big enough. Plus other collectors have contacted them about loaning some pieces they have.
It’s a work in progress. It’s only been open a year and will grow more as time goes on. Gonna be fun watching it as it grows. It already IS fun.
LOL! Yes, I’m still awake. It isn’t even midnight yet. I got up early this morning but still have a few hours left in me. :-)
Well, it’s good they brought up a couple of things you want to check out more thoroughly before you apply. Better the questions come up now and not afterwards.
