Hey Quebec, “Bienvenue au” suckers! Whasamata, you no no likee “immigrants?”
Push them back across the border at Northern NY.
That would make for some interesting politics.
“Montreal reminded me of a larger, worse-looking, colder version of Dayton, Ohio.”
What’s worse than Montreal is Quebec City. It’s where everyone stares at you if you don’t speak French! Quebec is Canada’s “Northern Ireland!”
...Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen ...

Hmmm...Anyone want to guess where THIS guys loyalties lie...with Canada and native Canadians or, instead, with the immigrates who entrance hes expediting?
Its kind of funny really, the supposedly proud and stubborn Quebeqois will end up simply surrendering their culture to Africans and Muslims.
Reminds me also of the Scottish National Party - we hate the tyranny of the English, so lets instead turn ourself over to Brussels.
Embrassez le sucer !
The number so far this year has tripled to 6,074
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s probably the daily number for the USA.
Oh Canada, wait until the newness wears off, then comes the
home invasions, the drugs, the car-jackings, rapes, all kinds of felonious crimes.
Boo-hoo. We had 32,000 come over the Texas border in February!
Make the Bell Province speaka da English...
I think I have spotted the problem....
Well, perhaps Canada should become more conservative and help itself. It could wake up and engage reality instead of trying remake it into some egalitarian fantasy.
I have friends in Quebec and love Quebec City.
People from Quebec culturally look towards France, and educate in France.
However, less than 30 percent of the population speak English as a second language.... very provincial.
Boo-hoo. We had 32,000 come over the Texas border in February!
and whose fault was THAT??
I visited Alberta last year and only came across a couple of hotel employees with a thick French accent, everyone else sounded very Western, eh.
I assumed they were from Quebec, probably more likely than actually being French.
Exactly. This article doesn’t explain an important peculiarity of Canadian law and politics — namely, the fact that a provincial government even has a person whose title is “Immigration Minister” in the first place.
I like the way this is playing out. Give it a couple more years and Canada will be voluteering to pay for our Southern Wall..LOL!
