Former first lady Barbara Bush is in failing health, a source close to the Bush family tells CNN. At 92 years old, Bush has been suffering for some time and has been in and out of the hospital multiple times in the last year while battling with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, and congestive heart failure. The source said she is being cared for at her home in Houston and has decided she does not want to go back into the hospital.

When either Bush finally goes, do you think Trump will be welcome at the funeral?

I still like that she was the feisty one.

I will pray for the salvation of her soul, that she repents of her pro-Abortion, pro Obamacare positions before the one true and Holy God.

I will also pray that the Holy Spirit convicts her of the sin of hatred of Sarah Palin/Tea Party/true Christian conservatives, so that her sins might be forgiven and her soul saved by Christ.

She did reach nice old age. Hopefully she is comfortable.

It will be a family decision, and might depend on who is calling the shots. I would say no, especially if Jeb gets a say. Probably no, because they're all upset over the "Low Energy" label.

A more interesting question to me is whether Trump will be welcome at the funeral when GHWB passes, because he's a past President, and his funeral is as much an affair of State as a family matter. Excluding Trump from that would really be an exhibition of pettiness that CNN and MSNBC would love to exploit.

“do you think Trump will be welcome at the funeral?”

Trump? No. Clintons and Obamas — of course.

“COPD, and congestive heart failure”

Several relatives had this. Too much smoking. Not pretty.

But 90s is a good run.

Unclear, but I think the real question is how quickly it will be after the initial news breaks that CNN decides that this is the real story to cover. If Jake Tapper is in the studio at the time, my guess is about four minutes (including commercial breaks).

Is that a rhetorical question?
I’m rather certain President Trump will NOT be a welcomed guest at GHWB funeral. Barbara’s funeral, maybe yes. But almost no speaking role. I can see Jeb! making very clear statements to affirm that. He may be overruled by his oldest son, Prescott, who hopes to still have a political career in the future.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/barbara-bush-sarah-palin-beautiful-hopes-stays-alaska-article-1.454578

When asked by King what her impressions of the former Alaska governor were, Barbara Bush quickly responded, “I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful. And I think she’s very happy in Alaska, and I hope she’ll stay there.”

Yup, she could be a mean old bird, which is why the liberal media adores her, well, after her husband made a concession speech to Clinton anyway.

That’s how my Grandmother went ...at 66 years old.
Watched her die in pieces...the Woman who raised me and I couldn’t do nothing about it.
The last time we took her to the hospital was it. She said “no more, I want to go home”.
I pray for the repose of Barbara’s soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed.

I remember a photo taken during the primaries. She was struggling up a hill, on a walker. Far ahead of her, opening the door for himself, was her hope for 2016.

I wish her well.

I’d bet her pro-abortion position follows her for eternity.

A hundred and fifty million deplorables wouldn’t be welcomed either.

Then again it’s democrats who think politics is a high school popularity contest ... not a job governing the nation.
