First it’s too hot, then too cold, then too dry, then too wet. Then there is panic when almost nothing is changing! As in Sun Spots.
Climate disruption fizzled out rather quickly.
And then there's the invasive plants. We have these gorgeous flaming bushes which are on their hit list. We had one in the 60s. Invasive?? Just dumb.
Their last shakedown racket didn’t pan out, so now, on to the next save the earth from the humans scam.

A: "No. We have a solution to the problem, and we don't even have to know what the final result is supposed to look like."

My real and biggest fear is Global Climate Sameness.

At least this is something we can accomplish. Do you want to “restore” the climate back to what it was100 years ago? Well ... we’re already there. Through global cooling, global warming, and climate change, nothing ever happened.
Eventually, the environuts will call for the extermination of the human race as penance for the sins we have committed against the Goddess Gaia.
We still have no control over the levels of water vapor in the atmosphere.

The climate DOES change - we know that from historical records - but I'm not convinced man's puny efforts have anything to do with it.
So now the idea is to ACCEPT it, and to MANAGE it (acceptable bounds). They can claim victory, since they establish the "acceptable bounds" when the climate changes (which it was going to do anyway).
Hooray, we saved the Earth, even though we actually did nothing...
Reminds me of a movie where after the hero slays the dragon, the King shows up with sword in hand, stands on the carcass and claims victory.
