President Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order directing federal agencies to strengthen existing work requirements and introduce new ones for low-income Americans receiving Medicaid, food stamps, public housing benefits and welfare as part of a broad overhaul of government assistance programs.

The order directs federal agencies to review all policies related to current work requirements as well as exemptions and waivers and report back to the White House with recommendations within 90 days.

“Welfare reform is necessary to prosperity and independence,” said Andrew Bremberg, assistant to the president and director of Trump’s domestic policy council.

Fourth reason: also flushes out the people who are on welfare under multiple identities.

First off, the able bodied welfare scans are the envy of most of the world for the benefits received. This, of course, is what drives much of our border crossings. For a while, the welfare pimps had to work, then mr obamamugabe ended that slavery practice. Time to get work, even the lazy lib scum can dig a trench, pick up trash, and make a small contribution.

Correction: Welfare was never meant to be a choice.

Welfare isn’t a ‘solution’, but yet another ‘problem’ of govt. Too many Rights violated in just this one area.

The stupid thing is, for many of these jobs there’s no real reason for licensing. Most of what the employee needed to know to work could be explained in 30 to 60 minutes on the job.

No, instead, these folks need to sign on to a college or business school course taking 4 to 8 months to complete.

I am a firm believer in apprentice type education, where you learn from others on the job.

I firmly believe that EVERY person collecting any of these kinds of benefits MUST re-qualify for such annually. I have to fill out papers annually just to get reduced meals at the local Senior Center-—and I don’t go more than 3 times a month-if that. Every October, I have to fill out 4 pages of same question I filled out the previous year.

In many states, if you want to braid hair or paint nails you need 1500 hours of cosmetology school, costing thousands of dollars. Tell me that is anything but guild protection and a revenue enhancer for the state.
