President to Mexico: Group of immigrants ‘had better be stopped’
President Donald Trump warned Honduras and Mexico he will retaliate if an alleged “caravan” of immigrants from the Central American country enters the United States.
The president for several days has appeared fixated on what he claims is a large group of immigrants he contends plans to try to enter the United States illegally. If they do, Trump says he might cut off U.S. aid to Honduras and terminate the North American Free Trade Agreement, which he says has benefited Mexico. But Congress might object to the former, since lawmakers control federal funding.
And he is using the alleged “caravan” to try to push lawmakers to quickly craft and pass what he on Monday vaguely called “border legislation” without offering specific policy demands. That is unlikely, since it has been years since major policy legislation passed both the House and Senate without using special rules.

Just visited Honduras for a day as a stop on the cruise we were on last week. Man, that place is a shit hole.

While he’s cutting aid to Honduras he should also cut aid to Mexico and use the money towards the wall.
First step in negotiation is to find out what they want or value that you can take away and threaten to take it.

All that costs money too. Just build a wall and let them congregate on the other side of it. Then no one cares and no further money is spent.

Immigration of illegals and enemies is INVASION. Trump not only has every right to prevent invasion regardless of Congress, he has every DUTY to prevent invasion because the Constitution MANDATES that he do so.

Yes, they’re very clever with their choice of words. I was listening to Fox News Radio a couple of hours ago, and they reported the stock market was up “... for now.” Do they ever report stock market losses as “... for now”? No, they don’t.
Well, clever wasn’t what I was thinking. It’s downright obvious. Poorly done ‘journalism’ and not at all clever.
