President to Mexico: Group of immigrants ‘had better be stopped’
President Donald Trump warned Honduras and Mexico he will retaliate if an alleged “caravan” of immigrants from the Central American country enters the United States.
The president for several days has appeared fixated on what he claims is a large group of immigrants he contends plans to try to enter the United States illegally. If they do, Trump says he might cut off U.S. aid to Honduras and terminate the North American Free Trade Agreement, which he says has benefited Mexico. But Congress might object to the former, since lawmakers control federal funding.
And he is using the alleged “caravan” to try to push lawmakers to quickly craft and pass what he on Monday vaguely called “border legislation” without offering specific policy demands. That is unlikely, since it has been years since major policy legislation passed both the House and Senate without using special rules.

Monitoring our borders and safety is now a fixation.
Mexico stopped it.
“The Mexican government on Monday evening moved to break up the caravan of migrants traveling through southern Mexico, with immigration officials registering the travelers and suggesting some could receive humanitarian visas while others would have to leave Mexico.”
Threats won’t feed the bulldog. We expect to see some ACTION against this invasion of our country. We do not have a shortage of welfare takers here.
Why are we sending aid to these countries that want to invade us?

So we send ‘aid’ to Honduras and they accept it...then the people we just ‘aided’ leave their homeland to come HERE for MORE ‘aid?

To the Fake News industry, following his Constitutional *mandate* is some sort of bizarre fixation.
They would be well advised to get used to it.
Their obsession with a hooker, euphemistically referred to as an adult film star, on the other hand, is entirely rational.
Those groups will be smaller but still head toward the USA once the dust settles.
There was an executive order declared last year that allows the US to go after all the assets of “Human Traffickers” that the US can. If they step foot on US soil they will be arrested and not released.

In a negotiation I f you make threats you can’t or won’t follow through on, you lose all leverage if they call your bluff. They then win. At some point he needs to actually do one of the things he threatens or nobody will take him seriously.
The media would never even be reporting on this “alleged caravan” unless Trump tweeted about it.
Is Honduras in NAFTA? It’s clearly Central American.
It’s real...they’re coming to America...and we, the taxpyers will have to support all 100,000 of them. Advice to Trump...don’t just threaten about cutting off aid. DO IT NOW!

Probably the best approach considering the negative economic impact every illegal costs. The government needs to bill back via aid reduction for every illegal to the originating country.
