Fox News host Laura Ingraham apologized Thursday after she posted a critical tweet about a Parkland, Fla. high school student.
"Any student should be proud of a 4.2 GPA —incl. @DavidHogg111. On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland," Ingraham tweeted.
"For the record, I believe my show was the first to feature David immediately after that horrific shooting and even noted how "poised" he was given the tragedy. As always, he’s welcome to return to the show anytime for a productive discussion."
The apology comes after Ingraham faced backlash after she posted a tweet critical of Parkland student, David Hogg, who has become a vocal advocate for gun control since the mass shooting last month at his high school.
Ingraham on Wednesday shared a Daily Wire story that reported Hogg was rejected from four colleges. “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA...totally predictable given acceptance rates,)” Ingraham tweeted.
Hog replied a few hours later, asking who the Fox News host's biggest advertisers were in a tweet.
He later tweeted out a list of Ingraham's advertisers, directing people to contact those companies.
Online travel website TripAdvisor and Rachael Ray's pet food brand Nutrish have since said they would stop advertising on Ingraham's show.

I’m betting Fox made her apologize. She should have walked, she has the 3rd most popular radio show and it the number 1 rated female talk show host. She would have been fine without Fox.

I was referring to the time when they went after O’Reilly and once they were successful they began on Sean. I have not heard him play the Daniels interview so I can’t comment.
As for Judge Moore, I would have preferred that Hannity keep his mouth shut, but remember that Hannity is very good friends with Mo Brooks which could have played a part in how Hannity handled the Moore saga.
She apologized for saying he whines and what did he do ,had a Tantrum and went right on whining ,LOL

Hogg came by his hatred of ‘nuts with guns’ honestly - with a father in the FBI he lived his life wondering if some crazy person might kill his father. That’s worth considering.
I don’t agree with Hogg on anything ... and I fear he’s been used by left wing haters... but he’s a kid... Period. We can take on his ideas... directly and fairly - but not by mocking a child...

Laura Ingraham blinked in apologizing. Bad mistake on her part, as it will never make the Left stop hating her. She was not wrong, in any case.
In the previously quoted words from John Wayne, never apologize, it is a sign of weakness, which is exactly how the anti-gun crowd and the Left will take it

LOL happens. Most of the time I'm right in there with most freepers.. but not on this issue. I don't agree with this kid ON ANYTHING - I just don't believe adults in positions of authority - like Laura - should be mocking high school kids on TV.
A lot of her listeners and viewers will not be impressed by her apology.
