JONESVILLE, MI - A Red Indian ice cream flavor, marketed specially last week at a Jonesville restaurant, has roiled some and sparked a slew of sometimes vicious social media remarks.
"If you look at all the major Native organizations, using redskin to describe Indians is frowned upon at the very least, and it is considered blatantly racist and hurtful," Natasha Crall of Hillsdale said on Saturday.

As an Indian, I’m good with it. My Shiprock High School mascot is the Chieftains which shows an Indian with a headdress.
Im also good with the Washington Redskins football team, the Cleveland Indians mascot and Redman tobacco ( I don’t do tobacco.) I admire and own Savage Rifles because they are accurate.

Why this contorted sentence structure? Why not speak more directly: "I have personally polled 17 of the total of 326 Native organizations, and they told me that they frown upon the use of the term 'Redskin' and also consider it blatantly..."?
That would allow us to fact-check her statement.
