Democratic lawmakers and state officials lined up swiftly to try to block a Trump administration plan to ask 2020 Census respondents whether they are U.S. citizens, setting up a battle over the decennial population count.
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said he would lead a multistate lawsuit to stop the administration from adding the question to the next census after the administration announced its intention to do so late Monday night. Last month he and 18 other attorneys general and one governor wrote to Commerce Department Secretary Wilbur Ross, who oversees the Census Bureau, urging him not to proceed with the plan.

They will take this to the SC. It is a very big thing. if the illegals are counted like citizens it means MANY House seats for the Rats. They will fight with every thing they can. I hope Trump is ready to fight this all the way because it’s damn important.
I saw earlier that CA would lose one seat in the House and well as a huge amount in federal funding.
The US solicitor general should argue the constitutional purpose of the census: counting citizens for congressional apportionment. Illegals are irrelevant.

I have seen numbers that suggest that in Los Angeles County alone, it could be as many as six. Currently, there are 18 Congressional Seats in LA County, only three of which are Republican.
