Did I just snort when I busted out laughing? Geez, not a single industrialized nation (major nation that is) is on track to meet some arbitrary goals? Who knew? Guess DJT saw the ruse for what it is. WINNING!

That must mean that the wealthy industrial countries in the West aren’t transferring enough of their wealth to the Third World countries to subsidize them. If we only would raise taxes by 50% and transfer the money to the Third World, the problem would be solved!!! (Oh, and shut down our industry too)

That is all to say, it is a virtual certainty that we will inflict, thanks to climate change, the equivalent of 25 Holocausts on the world.

This is serious, folks, it's even worse than the mass starvation the world underwent in the 1980's that wiped out 90% of the world's population. You do remember that, don't you?

The paper’s math is speculative, of course...

Hmm...ya reckon?

...and there will surely be those who take issue with its methodology...

They're all Climate Deniers, man.

The saddest part of the Paris Accords (other than their fantasy about controlling climate) is that after all of their efforts, all of their wealth-sucking endeavors, the sum total of what they amount to is stemming the 2 degree tide for 10 years. And that is a rosy estimate.

Even before the new spike, not a single major industrial nation was on track to fulfill the commitments it made in the Paris treaty.

They never intended to, in the first place. It was all for show, for the useful idiots back home to fawn over them.....................

They look exactly as much a fantasy as when they were first agreed to. If anyone is just now realizing the fantasy, I’ll give congratulations on growing up (a little).

And, thanks to Trump, they have a bad guy to blame it on. Obama is no doubt happy that the US won’t do what is necessary to achieve his commitments - he’d be the most hated person in US history if the US did what he committed to. And Merkel can claim that Germany totally would have met their (technologically impossible) commitments except Trump dropped out of Paris. IF Trump is around too long, Germans may get tired of winning.

I’m sure the CO2 increase of 1.7% is just as valid as the temperature increases over the last ten years weren’t due to the fact the temperature sensors were placed in parking lots, next to airport runways, in the middle of big cities, etc etc.

Everything they do contradicts everything. They want so much money from the US but hate capitalism. They want the US destroyed but want money from the US. Commies are crazy.
