Facebook to hold crisis meeting without Zuckerberg [!]
Sky News ^ | 03-20-2018 | Staff

The meeting will be led by Facebook's deputy general counsel as CEO Mark Zuckerberg remains silent on the data scandal.

======================================================================================================================

Facebook is holding an open meeting for all employees following allegations that data belonging to its users was harvested by Cambridge Analytica.

The company's chief executive and founder Mark Zuckerberg has not commented on the scandal nor made a public appearance since the story broke.

Mr Zuckerberg will not be present to lead Tuesday's meeting, which instead will be chaired by Facebook's deputy general counsel, Paul Grewal.

Cambridge Analytica is accused of illegally harvesting the personal data of 50 million Facebook users.

The crisis meeting follows a stock fall which wiped $37bn (£26bn) off its value as investigations are launched by the UK's Information Commissioner as well as European authorities.

According to an internal calendar invitation seen by technology publication The Verge, the meeting is scheduled for 10am Pacific Time (5pm UK time) today.

The Information Commissioner, Elizabeth Denham, has sought an urgent court warrant to search the premises of Cambridge Analytica in London for evidence of any breaches of the Data Protection Act.

Ms Denham is pursuing evidence as part of her look at the company's use of data analytics for political purposes and has filed for the warrant after Cambridge Analytica failed to respond to a deadline for access to its records.

It follows news that Facebook's staff were themselves attending Cambridge Analytica's offices on Monday night, which Ms Denham demanded they cease, stating that the social media company's search "would potentially compromise a regulatory investigation".

Zuckerberg is an espionage specialist, part of the magic negro’s Arab Spring initiative which destabilized North and Central Africa,Libtya, Sudan, Egypt, Syria, spread surface to air missiles and other ordnance around the Middle East.

Zuckerberg is nothing but a high tech Joseph Goebbels walking the shining path of Obama’s liberal fascism.

Zuck the F*ck is also guilty of election gerrymandering and welcoming the Russians to destroy America’s election system , just as the Alinsky theories of Obama had wanted.

America learned the truth and elected President Trump.

And America will re-elect President Trump.

The treasonous Zuck belongs behind bars as part of the Obama mafia crime syndicate that weaponized the DOJ.FBI,IRS , and the FEC against America.

Zuck the F*ck, is absent because he does not want to incriminate himself. Soon he will try to take the 5th.
Lock him up!

Some blame being shifted around....I could see some total outsider being brought in to run it as an actual business....rather than some play-toy of Zuckerberg.

The big negative for Zuckerberg is that he can’t handle debates well, and he’s just NOT what you’d consider CEO-like material in the big world.

There’s a lot of discussion going on in Europe today over the privacy of data and how it might be misused for ‘evil’ things (Zuckerberg never denied he was intent on using the data to help pay for projects and the improvement of the social media device). You might see a wave of people just swear off Facebook to make some point.

The UK doesn’t have the 5th Amendment......................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Really? Buahahahahaha!

Zuckerberg is still a US citizen, not having renounced it like several of his Facebook co-founders.

And the UK still has an extradition agreement with the USA.

Would Zuck the F*ck like a Congressional subpoena? It soon be coming !

Like all of Obama’s sycophants, Zuck the F*ck is a treasonous little coward.

Mark Zuckerberg remains silent

As in, he has the right to ‘remain silent’?

Yes, and it is a statistical impossibility for so many people to die surrounding them if they were completely innocent.

>>Couldn’t happen to a nicer group of people. Went directly to their senior management with evidence of crimes in process on their site, and they blew me off.

Same at the late, great DEC, 20 years ago.

In Zuckerberg’s case...other than talking about the technology or his gift to the world...he’s at a total loss in defending himself or defending the company itself. On that perspective....he’s a lousy CEO, and needs to be pushed out quickly, with a business-style executive to come in.

His great fame...has come to a closure.

Chris Hughes who co-founded and served as spokesman for Facebook. In 2007, Hughes left Facebook to volunteer for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

This guy set up his whole social media campaign

The chatter on Facebook is hilarious. “Bill Cosby found dead.” “Trump exposed as a Klingon.” “Prince Harry a Girl.” “Woman claims to be Melania’s Lesbian Lover.” “Republicans caught eating dead babies.” It can be a hoot.

Sounds like when his board gets through with him, Zuck may need that wall around his property in Hawaii.

“I’ve always thought Facebook was evil, from the minute after I signed up and they started feeding me suggestions based on my information. I only use it to snoop on what others post and only regret that I did not make up a totally fictitious profile instead of a truthful but very sparse one.”

What profile? And I didn’t even use my name!

Great idea. I’m probably going to be snowed in tomorrow and now I have something fun to do. ;-)

Something I forgot to mention is I use a vpn and change locations periodically.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I agree with the value of a vpn. It is quite interesting to see how the results can vary - and it really makes you aware of how “targetable” you are when you connect to any website.

Hughes is probably not that brilliant of a business guy either.

If you remember....he bought New Republic and talked about changing it into a profitable magazine. Four years later (2016), he admits that he understood very little about the production world and the readers. Then he sold the magazine.

This is also the guy who married up to some young political power player (19th District, NY) and felt social media messaging could help his spouse win (lost by 30 points).

Hughes will be the last guy called in to save Facebook at this point.

In the end, it may all come down to that private dinner meeting President Obama (and his most trusted adviser, Valerie Jarrett) had back in February 17, 2011 where the CEO's of the following companies were in attendance:

Apple
Cisco Systems
Facebook
Google
Netflix
Oracle Systems
Twitter
Yahoo!

We don't know what was said at that dinner, but if we find out a "gentlemen's agreement" was made at that dinner to suppress the political Right over the Internet by the eight companies with Obama's personal approval, then all eight companies could face a VERY serious First Amendment free speech lawsuit.

My sentiments exactly!

Plus Google and Yahoo were used by Obama for his Arab Spring efforts which destabilized much of North Africa, Libya, Sudan, Egypt , Syria and elsewhere. These companies are quite versed in liberal fascist espionage.
