Completely agree. I was just pointing out what the Government is doing. My husband’s cousin, living in South Africa for decades, has suggested we might see her and her husband soon. I have also seen a meme that asks PDJT if South Africans can come here as refugees. This whole thing may get very personal for us.
I have twin friends, Timba and Tamba, that emigrated here when they were kids from Zimbabwe, they have dual citizenship, both are whiter than me and that is saying something.
When they applied for college they listed African American as their nationality, legally it was true and they didn’t lie.
Needless to say, they were accepted everywhere they applied while their friends who did way better in HS were overlooked. I read today that Capetown is have a major water crisis and are rationing water.
