He was arrested for playing “Kill the Boer (white man)” song at his rallies.

They won't have much choice. They will be overwhelmed. The state will decline to oppose criminal violence against them, in fact, will encourage it by allowing its perpetrators to keep what they steal and by criminalizing acts of self defense. With luck you might survive under those conditions but you won't get much farming done.

If a white South African moved to the United States, would that white person be an African-American and get the same benefits that other African-Americans enjoy, such as affirmative action preferences?

My kid had a middle school friend whose parents had traveled widely in government service. He spent his early years in various African countries, mostly Kenya, IIRC. The kids used to joke that he was a White American African-American.
Is there talk of a civil war?? The white South Africans I have known in the past were professionals, mostly engineers, and there is no way they would put their tail beneath their legs and creep away into the darkness. If they couldn’t amass enough firepower, they might well hire mercenary fighters.
Hmmmm....if this is the majority mentality in Africa, I can see some employment opportunities on the horizon for mercenaries willing to “take out the garbage”.
