There is a very real possibility that war memorial crosses at Arlington National Cemetery could be in jeopardy, a federal judge warned in a chilling dissent to a court case involving the fate of a 90-year-old monument honoring soldiers in Bladensburg, Maryland.
The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday refused to revisit an October decision that declared the 90-year-old "Peace Cross" was unconstitutional because it rests on public property.
The monument is a memorial to the 49 men from Prince George's County, Maryland who died fighting for liberty in World War I.
The memorial, paid for by the American Legion and local citizens, consists of a large Celtic cross on a pedestal inscribed with the words "Valor," "Endurance," "Courage," and "Devotion."
The American Humanist Association, which represents a vicious gang of humanist and atheist thugs, was responsible for filing the original lawsuit.
"Government war memorials should respect all veterans, not just those from one religious group," AHA attorney Monica Miller said. "The cross unconstitutionally endorses Christianity and favors Christian soldiers to exclusion of all others."
That, of course, is an outright lie perpetrated by some very bad people.
The Establishment Clause actually allows monuments that include religious symbols and text to stand on public land, according to Van Orden v. Perry.
You need to understand the American Humanist Associations ultimate goal - they want to eradicate any public mention of Christianity. They want to destroy the Judeo-Christian values and teachings that flavor every one of our founding documents.
They have declared war on Christians in America and they will not stop until God and Jesus and the Bible are scrubbed from the public marketplace.
Federal Judge Paul Niemeyer warned people of faith that the Bladensburg ruling could lead to the unthinkable the removal of memorial crosses at Arlington National Cemetery.
"It ... puts at risk hundreds of monuments with similar symbols standing on public grounds across the country, such as those in nearby Arlington National Cemetery, where crosses of comparable size stand in commemoration of fallen soldiers," Judge Niemeyer wrote in his chilling dissent.
First Liberty Institute and Jones Day, the law firms, representing the American Legion, vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court. And they should.
Otherwise, the atheists will be free to commandeer bulldozers and turn our war memorial across the nation into piles of rubble.
Religious symbols like this need to come down!
If the cross has been around for 90 years and the American humanist association only 77, it’s clear that the latter represents the real problem.
Just why should the majority of the people have to live according to what a hateful minority want? These people are trampling all over every one else’s rights.
It’s unhistorical too. In founding America an “establishment of religion” meant a denomination. Not generic Christianity.
Offend a militant humanist every chance you can: they obviously like being offeneded because they spend so much elective time being offend.
Self servingly?
The prohibition the people placed upon the government was to keep them from creating a state sponsored religion. It is dramatically telling that ‘humanists’ never go after actual acts of establishment such as randomly deciding that matrimony means the union of any two things or people.
Recognizing existing religion doesn’t establish that religion. And it is the constant attacks on the 1st that is why the 2nd is so critically important. Place an armed volunteer honor guard around the site and invite the court to come challenge the people who shall not be cowed by their random and usurperious fiats from the bench. It will be a very lonely day of nothing happening.
Hey, some people can’t be happy unless they are miserable after some fashion. Those who go about being offended at everything often seem to be one of those types.
So offend them freely. Let them be as happily miserable or miserably happy as they can possibly be.
It’s a kind of public service.
If that happens then the government should smash them into little pieces with a hammer so the message is driven home loud and clear and the photo image of this CHANGE can be preserved for history.
We will warn him back.
Militant atheism is a religious faith and worldview too. And it is supremacist in its application seeking to destroy all evidence of others’ faith in public. And they will criminalize religious organizations, foundations, and gatherings on the basis of discrimination against OTHER sexualities.
Michael Newdow 2.0.
In the end this will end up in the Supreme Court. This is why we need conservative judges on SCOTUS.
It always amazes me that some people actually reach adulthood in America.
Intersectionality is the new Gnostic/dualistic religion:
Given the polarization of America right now, did she see some way for the two camps to communicate or find common ground? The vehemence of her answer was startling. No, she said. You cannot bring these two worlds together. You must be oppositional. You must fight. For me, its a line in the sand.

Thats become a way of life for me. Its glorious.
Hate-theists gotta hate. They especially gotta hate the One they swear doesn’t even exist.
“...the atheists will be free to commandeer bulldozers and turn our war memorial across the nation into piles of rubble.”
And patriots will commandeer their scope-equipped AR-15’s & aim them at anyone driving a bulldozer toward a cross memorial.
People who cannot bear to look upon the Cross of Christ are strongly influenced by the Evil One himself. It matters not that they disbelieve in their own souls and the Evil One because neither can be seen. Both exist and the Evil One will relieve them of their souls if they persist in the way of wickedness. Doubtless their soils are already in a state of disintegration.
MY point will get me disappeared.
