The Gateway Pundit (TGP) reached a record number of page views in 2017.
TGP readership hit an all-time high in 2017!
We reached more than 224 million page views in 2017. This surpassed our previous record from 2016 of 182 million page views.
We thank all our readers for all their support.
This Was Despite Unprecedented Attacks
On the other hand, 2017 was a very challenging year for TGP. Facebook and Twitter have often altered their platforms to prevent TGP stories from being shared. They have employed far left operatives who deem which stories are acceptable and others they kill off before they go viral.
Stories like Hillary is going to win in a landslide, Hillary is not sick or Trump colluded with Russia are considered accurate reports. These powerful tech firms act as gatekeepers and prevent conservative content from being shared online.
In 2016 we were one of the few conservative sites that supported candidate Trump along with Breitbart, The Drudge Report, Infowars, Zero Hedge and Conservative Treehouse. We are proud of our efforts to report the truth that led to Trumps historic win.
In 2017 Harvard and Columbia Journalism Review found that The Gateway Pundit was the 4th most influential conservative news source in the 2016 election.

Stop treating the Southern Poverty Law Center like it’s a respectable and responsible organization
Gateway Pundit is about 75% reliable, which isn’t bad for blogs, I guess.
It is publicly traded, but it is not public like government—it is in private sector company that is publicly traded on NASDQ and owned by shareholders.
Frankly, I think it should be considered as a public utility—just like TV - public airwaves, etc...which would likely change what it can censor/prohibit.
Ther are many laws governing behavior towards employees, but not sure that it is illegal for a private company to prohibit/censor stuff on their website or pages.
Lawyers on FR surely can address this far more accurately than I :)
I wouldn’t call it a public function...I would analogize more to the public accommodation cases. Courts in the 50s and 60s held that Congress’ ability to force private businesses to not discriminate against customers was because racism affected public commerce and was against the public interest and constitutional principles. The same could be applied to monopolies that communicate political views across state lines. All Congress needs to do is pass a law requiring that such public outlets for expression be required to not discriminate against any legal form of opinion based on ideology.

Today Fakebook is trending that Trump congratulated China’s president for life and pondered if that would be happening in America soon.
Of course it was tongue in cheek and trolling by the Commander in Chief but Fakebook isn’t playing it as a joking comment, and the snowflakes are paranoid about Trump’s coming dictatorship (ignoring the loss of freedom in China).
Think back to Ronald Reagan’s “the bombing begins in 5 minutes” gag. Think if Fakebook reported that as “Reagan Today Threatened To Nuke The USSR Who Wasn’t Doin’ Nuffin’, Honest!”
>>democrats/marxists like Zuckerberg of Facebook have a virtual monopoly on the internet.
How queer that so-called Net Neutrality did nothing to protect free speech or disrupt Zuckerschmuck’s fascist monopoly of global opinion.
The “Q” LARPer knows no more (And often less) about anything happening than the average FReeper. I can’t believe there are people treating this Q character as some profound high-level “insider.” It is all so hilarious.
Publicly traded but not a public entity.
Many who post here engage in Facebook, ironic, huh?
They aren’t using the airwaves, that would be a grotesque and evil power grab.
CB is getting to be a pain in the ass. I want to quit but thy outdoor lik that. Need a new site rot counteract them.
Facebook has a monopoly.
Facebook buys up any website or app that starts getting big.
Also Google makes most conservative websites invisible now.
So let’s say I create a web site called “conservative Facebook” or something where conservatives can have a social network.
How will people find out about it if Facebook, Google and twitter will now allow people to share that link ? No one will ever find it because these marxist sites do just that as they are doing now to Gateway Pundit.
That’s Facebook , twitter , etc. don’t allow anyone to share a link form a conservative website ,app that they consider competition or conservative . I made a typo on the previous post .
And if they don't want to bake a cake they don't have to. D@mn straight this is America.
March happened.
You keep saying that like it is true, it isn't, because et hasn't been adjudicated.
