"On the eve of Tea Party favorite State Sen. Chris McDaniels announcement on Wednesday of his challenge to incumbent establishment GOP Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) for the Republican partys nomination for the U.S. Senate in Mississippi, President Trump tweeted his endorsement of Wicker."

No, merely a statement of political reality.
We cannot risk the senate. The senate is doing great on judges. My number 1 priority!!!!! Keep the senate!!!!!
yes, or so it seems.
Let's see what he does over the 2nd and 3rd of March, the next two days.
Backing the incumbent makes sense.
Maybe not the best, but we don’t need a last-minute split of the Republican vote.
Had Alabama GOP primary voters listened to Trump, a Democrat almost certainly wouldn't be sitting in that seat until 2021.
“Shades of Alabama? “
You mean not to toss another seat?
True. We can’t afford anymore debacles like in Al.
I really like the common sense and lawful judges we are getting, no use fooling with it.
True, but one wonders if the blatant voter fraud had not been permitted, if AL would have had a great Christian conservative Senator. Either way, it stinks.
You said you wanted to drain the swamp, Donald.
Why are you protecting Swampocrats???
Perhaps he means that radical conservative purists having no chance at being elected seek to precipitate the loss of another seat in the Senate
Does Trump know something we dont? Or this simply because Trump is not a conservative?
Nonetheless, Trump actually came out looking wise for backing Luther Strange over Roy Moore.
The fact is the Republican Establishment would rather have a Democrat win than a Tea Party challenger.
You can’t drain the swamp if you give the seat to a democrat.
“No, merely a statement of political reality.”
Agree. As far as I know, Wicker has supported EVERY Trump judge...and, at this point, that is ALL I care about, because if we lose the Judiciary (or more accurately, don’t take it back), nothing else will matter, as the next president will simply deem all Illegals to be citizens and have their leftist buddies on the courts uphold it.
Even with fraud, it seems to me you got a lot of not so Christian people in Alabama if there was any possible way he won or even came close. And you vote for someone that’s got a D next to their name, you can’t believe in God. I’m beginning to wonder in between sessions and that election about Alabama values.
I supported Chris in Desoto county back in 2014. Part of me could see him taking on Cochran again in a couple of years. Thad might die between then. Wicker isn’t ancient like Thad
You can’t drain the swamp if you keep a Swampocrat in the seat.
