Oh, how I wish we could grow camellias and my very favorite, gardenias. Or dogwood or rhododendrons, or so many that won’t grow out here in the cactus. LOL!
I’d love to see your daffodils popping up everywhere in the yard. I think there was method in Clara’s madness at planting them randomly. Like little surprises all over the place. Fun! Do you have hyacinths, too?

We're barely able to have camillias here. We're almost too far north for them. I've babied the one we have and it's held on for around 18 years now.
Hubby hates the daffodils being scattered everywhere because I won't let him mow them. LOL! But most of them are off to the side where they aren't in his way. It would be prettier if they weren't coming up amongst a ton of weeds though. Not much grass right now. This pic was taken a year ago today and is pretty much what it looks like in that spot now, though it was MUCH drier that day.
There are a couple of hyacinths stuck around the yard but not many.

So pretty! It’s like a little surprise every time you go out. To see which one and where will be the next one to bloom. Mine are all in one bed. Along with some yellow tulips and daisies.
I just hope we have grass. I’ll bet you’ll have more than your hubby wants to mow. LOL!

It is pretty and I do go around to see which clumps are blooming. I love the different varieties Clara and Hubby’s mom planted over the years.
There are only a couple of beds here and I set those up. They just planted things wherever they saw a bare spot I reckon. LOL
We’ll have a lot of grass later on, if it doesn’t drown! Another heavy downpour just hit and now it’s back to steady, heavy-ish rain.
I dumped the gauge at midnight and it had 3.2 inches in it. Then I totaled rainfall for the month and we’ve had 13.57 inches this month!

It’s cheery and they should go crazy after all this rain. You’ve had more this month than we normally get in a whole year! Amazing to me!
Wish we could split it down the middle. LOL!
Guess I’d better head out. Got part of a show to watch and both cats in the house. Yikes!
See ya tomorrow night...we’ll see how things turn out. :)

Things already started going crazy after last week’s rain and warm temps. IF the cold nights this weekend don’t hit too hard, things should go wild after all this rain.
I wish right along with ya that we could share some of it with y’all down there.
I hope Peaches behaves himself and lets you get some good sleep tonight. Catch ya tomorrow.
