FL AG Bondi: ‘Some Folks’ in Broward County Sheriff’s Department ‘Were Not Honest With Me’

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said members of the Broward County Sheriff’s Department were not honest about why more deputies reportedly failed to enter the building and engage with the shooter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Bondi said, “I know a lot more than you all do now, so all I’m going to say is, yes, I believe there needs to be a full investigation. I don’t think some people were honest and we’re going to investigate this situation in Florida, and the right thing will be done.” Steve Doocy asked, “Was there a stand-down order?”

Bondi replied, “I can’t talk about that.”

When asked if there was more than one officer at the school who did not enter, Bondi said,”That’s what we are hearing, and I can tell you I believe some folks in that department were not honest with me, nor were they honest with the governor. So there is going to be a full investigation into what really went on. Right now what I’m focused on is working with these students and going forward.”

“I read somewhere that Lambo was provided by a dealership as a publicity stunt. It was given a temporary vinyl wrap (not painted) to give it the appearance you see in the picture. ”

National Review- “Back in 2014, the Broward Sheriff’s Office reached an agreement with Prestige Imports of Miami to wrap a $250,000 Lamborghini Aventador in police logos as part of a “Toys in the Sun” event for the charity Toys for Tots. The car was “rented” by the Sheriff’s office for ten dollars, and the car was wrapped in the decals and logos at no cost to the taxpayers. It was towed to and from the event.”

I hope AG Pam Bondi does what she says she is going to do but regardless of what she does, this needs looking into by the DOJ.

Florida Governor Scott is running for Senate. He’s going to tip toe through the tulips on this one. Unfortunately.

[BLOGGER: Broward County Sheriffs is one dirty operation. The Sheriff was actively not charging students with crimes (to get federal grants).

Mob syndicates moved in——started running students for mob crimes knowing students were free from prosecution. In fact, the crime syndicates even knew when the schools, school board, and Sheriff would be reporting numbers. So they would wait until the submittal dates were complete to schedule their crime.]

Thanks again, Liz.

Why would he? The fallout from this gross malfeasance, all seems to fall on the Florida Democratic Party. This should lead to a Republican landslide!

Don’t forget his brother, James Runcie, at Obama’s dept of education in DC. He resigned after being subpoenaed by Trump admin. He helped with the student loan debacle.
Here is NPR’s report on the resignation, and yes, he is the brother. He went to Holy Cross, which is where I verified the relationship.

It won’’t lead to a republican landslide because they are NE liberals transplanted from NY & Mass. These people always vote D no matter what. IOW, These are Hillary’s people.

Thanks, but no need for the mention.

I found this like most FR projects work...

Beautiful_Gracious_Skies found the draft, and I just looked for and found the signed copy.

I did a search on the school district discipline code because it was hard to fathom what Cruz had been allowed to get by with school.

He’s been a really sick kid for a very long time:

but I understand that politicians have to tread carefully amongst each other, so the good guys are routinely making crappy compromises. ------------
