Hearing aid maker Starkey Hearing Technologies is joining other companies that have cut ties with the National Rifle Association after the latest school massacre.
The Eden Prairie company announced the decision over the weekend, saying it would not renew its discount program offered to NRA members.

I hope they go out of business.
NRA members may be Starkey’s best target customer. Sometimes they do not wear ear protection.
LOL!
Well, Starkey, bye ...
What a racket all these hearing aids are. Every time grandma screws it up they want another $6,000. And they design them to be sure Grandma is able to screw it up. What a con job biz.
Thta is very stupid on their part. I cannot think of another group that has as much need of hearing aids as old gun guys.

Not in my case. I’ve been using Starkey Halo hearing devices for 3 plus years now and I can say they do a good job of standing behind their product. That said, this stupid NRA move of theirs puts me in a spot. When will this madness end...
Well, I guess when I start going deaf, I won’t be getting my hearing aids from them.
My VA-provided hearing aids are from Starkey. Maybe Trump will order a new provider, but I’m not sure there is another American provider.

Let them ‘hear’ about our displeasure.
Sick of this.
I'm in the business and this can hurt them. They are FAR TOO STUPID to understand that Veterans and NRA members are very nearly one and the same.
Be polite, professional and have a plan... Oticon, Phonak and Widex are superior products anyway.
