Sundance is 100% correct.

Note to Parkland families seeking to hold the school board accountable: "very important for the families to screen out the lawyers carefully. Many of the top lawyers are aligned with high-ranking political Democrats." Stay out of the Broward system.

There is an extreme political CYA occurring form the moment this happened. This policy was ushered in by the AA Chicago (Jamaican) Superintendent hired in 2012 - Robert Runcie- linked to Obama.

The county judicial system and sheriff's office signed onto this school agreement. It will take a high level law firm to crack this open and it will likely need to make its way to the Florida Supreme Court to get beyond the Broward County Democrat machine. Victimized school families should hire a lawyer from outside the county.

Although it’s a 1950s New York case, Dunham vs. Village of Canisteo, 303 NY 498, and its thinking are very widespread. I don’t know if having a bad government policy regarding Cruz constitutes a sufficient “ministerial relationship” with the Parkland students to support a wrongful death action. I’m not a lawyer, just spent 18 years working for them. And that is the legal question that a lawyer would have had me research, if I still worked for them. But I don’t. So I won’t.

How about Armed guard legislation, you know, like all the crooks in Washington got. Taxpayer financed multiple armed bodyguards for the matriarch of the Clinton crime family who should be doing life in prison, Hillary F. Clinton and what do our kids get? Teachers with pencils and welcoming mats for serial killers outside the school “This area is a gun free zone aka nobody will shoot back at you”

"ps. My apologies but my experience in trying to stop this years ago was met with hostility and the most intense political hate imaginable. As a result, I dislike the characters and officials around this story immensely. The Sheriff, the School Superintendent and every member of the Broward County School Board are complicit. They deserve no quarter."

In addition to any monetary damages, these officials need to be brought up on manslaughter charges. The challenge is how to make the legal system stop acting as the protector of the Left.

We have gun control legislation, and it doesn't work well enough to prevent so many shootings. I'll be up front about it though. The last three major mass killings, were done with an AR-15 to the best of my knowledge. In the Texas one, the perp was also given chase by a gun owner using his AR-15, caused the perp to give it up and off himself. Of course, other rapid fire guns or even more deadly caliber hunting rifles are an option. So why this particular gun?

Maybe I would take it more seriously if they started getting serious with all the felon shooters who kill with guns or just go out with the resultant "shots fired" incidents which are hugely on the rise.

Everyone should ask themselves if it was their child who went off to school and went through something like this. If they got the horrible news theirs was killed, or badly wounded, who would they blame, and what would they do? Sue?

I guess you can't sue the gun manufacturer because some Sandy Hook parents tried that. And the refusal by that court I would probably support. Can you sue the FBI? They surely dropped the ball bigtime. How about the school not securing the premises adequately? Anybody else or would you not sue anybody (which may be a good option because that has heavy emotional consequences, too).

I'm not for arming teachers with possibly a very few exceptions. I don't see how they can do their job, carry a weapon whether openly or concealed, and not be easily distracted and be at risk for kids to attack them and take it from them. Unless they don't know.

Banning bump stocks would be a good start, but most mass killings haven't been accomplished with them. Only one I know of is Las Vegas. And I concede it probably made it more deadly.

Why can't we have a reasonable conversation about ALL the possibilities, reasonable or not? I will say the liberals are playing this one like they always seem to do which is infuriating, but sooner or later, it could be a winning issue for them. And I do not want them to win.

Here’s the reality that Brit Hume and others either don’t get, or deliberately wont face:

The 2nd Amendment is for THE DAY they ban our firearms and try to take them away. THAT day. If that’s not a tyrannical move, then I don’t know what constitutes “tyranny”. Anyone who signs on to it, who signs it and tries to enforce it is a traitorous POS and, well, add whatever you want to the end of that statement.

Period.

Everything else is moot at that point, and you have a choice to make. Choices have consequences, but it is still a choice.

And that choice is, am I an American, a Free Man, with Rights enumerated in the Constitution for over 200 years, or do I just knuckle under and wait for the cattle cars?

Because that is the end result of EVERY gun ban, ultimately. It’s how the Left historically has dealt with “difficult people”.

I’m an American. That’s my choice. I have relatives that DIED for these rights. I don’t bow, kneel, kowtow, or blindly comply, or OBEY anyone or anything.

So, take that for what it’s worth.

I’m betting there are millions more just like me. If not, that doesn’t matter either, because I’m STILL an American, with the duties, obligations, and responsibilities imposed on me by virtue of that declaration.

#MyRightsAreNonNegotiable.

Quite frankly, the same applies to Trayvon Martin. If he had been charged when authorities found stolen goods in his possession, he might have had a chance at rehabilitation—especially since records for such crimes committed while underage can go away upon reaching adulthood.

But he learned he could commit theft and break-ins with impunity. This most likely led to his cavalier attitude when confronted by the off-duty patrol guy (Zimmerman).

Enforcement of the law is often in the best interest of both the victims and the criminals. Goes double when enforcement puts an end to such behavior.

Good advice; Those so called protests which are nothing more than “democrat” aka pervert rallys designed to deflect responsibility of failure of a system they created.

There should be a counter protest organized by members of the Florida House who attempted to correct the situation in Parkland and other areas employing this stupid “gun free zone” BS.

If and when they do they should expose the failings of the policies applied by the school board.

Examine records reporting how student vs student, and student vs teacher altercations, vandalism, and thefts, which are bound to occur were being dealt with.

Because of their Ding Bat liberal policies it brings up another question. Just how safe and secure are those kids ? There’s a lot of krap that happens; Assaults, fights, thefts, books and items stolen, teachers accosted, kids intimidated..Drug use..

Because in an educational unit this size it’s pretty clear their security system failed . In a secure system Cruz would have never gotten inside.

I’m afraid we can count on authorities “doing nothing” in some future cases. Which is why we need to adopt the kind of school security protocols that the Israelis have used to make their schools safe: controlled access to schools/grounds with something like guards and/or ID check points and/or metal detectors, concealed carry for teachers who want their charges safe, etc.

Perhaps it is fortunate that school kids are out demonstrating for action as such effort on their part must surely indicate a willingness to comply with the kinds of protocols mentioned above.

Broward County is reputed to be a hot bed of Hezbollah narco/human trafficking. DWS District. Been reading and hearing a lot about crooked cops as well.

The school was named after a Feminist who was known for her fight against draining the swamp (Everglades). How weird is that?
