Recalling the ol’ maxim that a liberal is just a conservative who hasn’t been mugged yet, I see great irony building.
Many teachers are realizing that they are ON THE FRONT LINES and COMPLETELY NAKED. Rank-and-file often disagree with union leadership, and there should be a groundswell of teachers who make the push for concealed carry in the classroom.
A teacher can shield students from a bullet, yet still die and not stop subsequent killing of students. Give willing teachers training (which some already have) and gun, and they won’t have to give up their life or be a speedbump in the road for someone intent on murdering our students.

Public school kids SHOULD march on DC. They SHOULD insist on safety. And this is how to do it. No more gun free zones. We shouldn’t be forced to send our kids to public schools if they can’t keep them as safe as a rock concert. Seriously. No kid has to attend a rock concert.
