Attorney General Jeff Sessions is ordering a review into the FBI and Justice Department's procedures after the bureau revealed it had failed to act on a tip about the teenager accused of carrying out a deadly mass shooting in Florida.
“It is now clear that the warning signs were there and tips to the FBI were missed. We see the tragic consequences of those failures," Sessions said in a statement Friday.
“The FBI in conjunction with our state and local partners must act flawlessly to prevent all attacks. This is imperative, and we must do better."
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will conduct the review, he said.

I predict that if Trump doesn't get rid of Sessions it will be Sessions that causes Trump to lose his popularity and even go down in defeat.
People want JUSTICE carried out on Hillary, and lots more, if it doesn't happen it will be Trump's failure.
Other "copy-cat" shootings are inevitable, then Sessions can fire a bunch "with cause".

President Trump should fire Wray, Rosenstein, and possibly Sessions and Mueller. This whole Russia collusion investigation is now literally a deadly distraction.
Andrew McCarthy has written some excellent articles on this topic. Obama, Rice and Comey purposely failed to disclose key information to Trump including the history, funding and use of the Steele dossier. If Trump had been properly informed, he would have justifiably shut the witch hunt down.
The timing for firing Wray is right now. For the others, after the IG’s report is released in March.
Or - it’s sticking a finger in Rosenstein’s eye....investigate the agency he’s trying so hard to protect...when we already know there’s no way to brush it off as the initial “We didn’t have enough info to identify the individual” crap made them look so stupid they had to come out and admit they didn’t do their job...
Maybe this person should have been the Attorney General.

Cruz and the Sandy Hook shooter were both teenagers being raised by single moms. It would seem that in the case of single moms losing control over teenage boys that when called to investigate those situations should be looked at really hard.
