Sen. Ted Cruz said Thursday that if Republicans pass an immigration plan that allows citizenship they will lose the majority in Congress this November.
“Mark my words, if Republican majorities in Congress pass citizenship for millions of people, do amnesty, I think it is quite likely we will lose both houses of Congress,” Mr. Cruz, Texas Republican, said on Fox News.

The DC Republicans, being in the majority puts them out of their comfort zone of their long standing establishment pleasing ploy of go along to get along. It is obvious that they (McConnell, Ryan et al) hate the challenging position that having a President like Trump has put them in. Their horn swaggling of the American people has become more difficult with the current “America first” rule.
Others have come out and said they need to craft a Bill “the President will sign” because it is what the people want - they say that the “bipartisan” piece of crap Linda and company have crafted doesn’t do what it needs to do in order to be signed. Cruz is just making more public noise than the rest because.....he’s Cruz.
Haven't seen anything from him since late last year. Must be out of treatment or jail? Irritated that, unfortunately, I still get junk mail from him every few weeks. Ok, I do get satisfaction from that that he likely spends a dollar or two each time. But at that rate it will take a few years to get back the money I wasted on the loser.

Cruz’s current position on immigration may be posturing only for win in senate again. He is a globalist.
Cruz’s way means 1,000,000 people coming in every year with a pathway to citizenship, that being “chain migration”, will continue. He can’t see the forest for the trees and this is about protecting his own Senate seat and he is going by what his constituency says.

Trust me, he would never win my vote as a Presidential candidate. I honestly do not believe he meets the natural born citizen qualification, just for starters.
