One of President Trump’s outspoken supporters in Congress has still been unable to reach him to discuss “earth-shattering” information shared by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange six months ago in London.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., met with Assange in Ecuador's British Embassy in August and said afterward that Assange can prove Russia didn't hack Democratic emails during the 2016 election, as U.S. spy agencies allege.
But Rohrabacher has been blown off repeatedly, and despite months of effort hasn't been able to arrange a meeting or phone call with Trump.
"I suspect it’s partly because of the number that’s been done on me, claiming I’m a controversial dude," said Charles Johnson, the conservative journalist and entrepreneur who helped organize the Assange meeting. "And I suspect it’s because people say Dana is Putin’s bitch, which he’s not."

I think Trump already knows...the Dems were the ones colluding with Russia.
If my memory serves correctly, Charles Johnson has a well earned controversial reputation. That alone casts a big shadow on Dana and his claims.
Neither Assange or Manning deserves a pardon here. Remember, they are Obama’s guys.
So this news is “earth shattering”.. Is that way bigger than “bombshell”?
I have no doubt that President Trump knows. I would think he has a line of connection to Assange.
Rohrabacher is convinced that Julian Assange holds the key to ending the Trump/Russia investigation.
Assange wants a pardon for himself and others in exchange for providing the exonerating proof.
Pompeo wants Assange in jail, maybe not for 2016 election leaks but other more damaging ones.
If the Trump/Russia investigation is catching more corrupt members of the Obama DOJ/FBI/IC, Trump may have decided not to seek the proof Assange is offering...at least not at this time.

Assange will release the name at the time he feels he can get the most leverage from it. So much is going on now under the radar. Why haven’t Page and Strozk etc. been questioned by the House Intelligence Committee? Probably because they are cooperating with the DOJ OIG in a criminal investigation.

Assange wants to get out of his de facto prison cell at the Ecuadoran embassy in London.
I can't say I blame him, although the integrity of Wikileaks is based on it's pristine record of accuracy and not revealing sources.
