Very bad idea IMO. Tinpot dictators stage big military parades but American presidents speak softly and carry big sticks. We have many other ways of letting foreign powers know we are strong. Mixed feelings on this. I don’t think we need to emulate Communist China or Russia with a purely military parade, but perhaps there could be a bigger military component to some other holiday. That way it would be a regular recurring event.
