Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued a statement Friday following the release of the controversial Nunes memo alleging FISA abuse by the FBI and Department of Justice. I have great confidence in the men and women of this Department. But no Department is perfect.
Full statement:
“Congress had made inquiries concerning an issue of great importance for the country and concerns have been raised about the Department’s performance. I have great confidence in the men and women of this Department. But no Department is perfect.
Accordingly, I will forward to appropriate DOJ components all information I receive from Congress regarding this. I am determined that we will fully and fairly ascertain the truth.
We work for the American people and are accountable to them and those they have elected. We will meet that responsibility.”

The DOJ and the FBI may not be perfectly corrupt, but they are corrupt.

Yes Jeff, at that level they must be the kind of people who do not make mistakes. If they do, they must fix them immediately. This court is the heart beat of preventing terror in the US. If they make mistakes, replace them with people who do not.
He doesn’t address the illegal spying on Trump, and why there’s still a witch hunt going on against the Trump Campaign.
If Sessions is as bad as many of you claim, that means that we have grossly overestimated Trump.
Trump campaigned on Draining the swamp. So, one of his utmost priorities was finding the right head of the Justice Department. If Sessions is a moron, then that means Trump was a total moron in picking Jeff Sessions.
I might be wrong, but mathematically I’m more than likely right. Sessions is a quiet worker, under the guise of being soft and slow moving.
When Sessions moves, it will be with a HAMMER FROM GOD.
Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller need to be fired. NOW!!!
That doesn't tell us that Sessions is making apologies for what has been done.
By telling us the DOJ and FBI aren't perfect, he is also telling us that he is going to clean house.
He is tactfully and strategically saying the right things. He’s telling the good guys in the FBI, that they aren’t going to come after them. They want to remove the cancer from the FBI, not kill the patient.
Mr. President, fire this turncoat swamp rat now. Sessions is your worst enemy. Who could possibly question firing this POS after a full year of malfeasance or treason?
The assertions that Sessions was in his bat cave putting the final touches on a list of individuals to be arrested seem to be complete bs. He’s the ineffectual, compromised slug we thought he was.
