As soon as he agreed to them, then the Democrats went out and claimed he was altering the memo without consent.

Good grief, why, why, why, give more time to the enemy to discredit the memo?
As I said the day it was voted out of committee, leak it now!
Coumo tried to grill Peter King (R-NY) this morning on said “alteration”.
Implying the change was due to FBI pointing out some error that was false, King answered back saying flatly,
“No, no, Chris, you’re listening to the Democrats. What was changed was not because it was FALSE, but because it was TRUE!”
I nearly cheered out loud. Nice stop on Chris Coumo. Slammed.
At this point my understanding is that the WH and Chairman Nunes have agreed to make a few but by no means all of the redactions the FBI has requested; that the FBI still opposes the release of the memo, but the WH has told them to get bent, and that Trump has approved the request to release the classified information contained in the memo; and that the memo has been returned to the House Intel. Committee and that its release by the Committee will take place tomorrow morning.
He's sending a very strong message to the NFL when the biggest news story in 15+ years hits the news on Super Bowl weekend ... just a few weeks after he made a point of attending the college football national championship in person.
Gives me heartburn.
