My oldest friend lives in London, so we used to go over a lot. I fear that my travel days are long gone, as well. :-(
I have been to many places and had few problems. I recommend travel and central europe is on my list if I can do it again. We have friends in the eats of France near Mulhouse and we can get anywhere from their regional airport.
France is now out too...for the same reasons.

I did Budapest a few months after the Berlin Wall fell. Those locals were hungry for my Western currencies. Spent four days there on $50.

I was there as a toddler once, no recollection though. My mother has 39 cousins up there so there are tons of relatives still. “Met” a couple on facebook, 2nd or 3rd cousins..love facebook for that. My great-grandmother’s house at 1384 Overdale Ave. was later owned by my great-Aunt Kate. There was a fire that gutted it in 1973 or 4..shortly after she died of a heart attack, it was too much for her to bear. Now it’s a bed and breakfast, La Petite Prince..found it online and on Trip Advisor.

Oddly, he was the first in media (9:05pm EST)to mention the possibility of Trump becoming President. With laughter by others (Kelly, Hume, Baier,) on the panel to follow.

One of my uncles was in the Army in WWII and was in the China, Burma, India theater. I've had no luck getting any info about his service as St. Louis, Missouri personnel center says his records were destroyed in the big fire there in 1973. The only info I was able to get was from the VA, and it wasn't much. He was with the 857th Ordnance Heavy Automotive Maintenance. My other uncle was in the 787th Engineer Petroleum Distribution Company.
Not Pelosi tonight - she wore all black. They all did. For them it was a funeral (they wish). For the rest of us it was a celebration of accomplishment and looking forward to more success and the continuing challenges of making America great again.
Definitely the night cruise on the Danube is a must-do. Incredible when they light up all the buildings.
