The Storm Over The Capitol, Washington, DC
Hey Ft. Worth: Please forgive me for sullying your great nickname.
or the leather-tanning shed...
we have GOT to vote her out.
And if you’re in Krakow, definitely do the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
I got it post 2666 I think....gumming it.
we need a FR travel thread and no charge for advice.
Very much need to go to Vienna, to see the Schonbrunn Palace, because my great great grandfather was the Head drum Major of the Austro-Hungarian Army and loved Emperor Franz Josef and his family.
Sounds interesting.
Prague is a very vibrant city. Folks coming there from other places to work. I think the central and eastern countries have fewer muslims praying in the street and throwing acid on tourists.
I volunteer to do London. :-)
She probably was keeping a low profile out of respect for the President.:-)
.
And if you’re in Vienna you can do a day-trip to Bratislava, which is about an hour away.
Thanks for the link...I’ll read it tomorrow; I really need to go to bed.
My granddaughter is running in the London Marathon in April——go then. :-)
I adore London but my traveling days are over.
.
London where the muslim mayor explains that in large city you have to expect acid attacks, vans driving into the crowds and random killing of police. I love english history and london, but I’ve been there. At 71 probably won’t go back.
It no longer functions as a salt mine, but they did some incredible sculptures out of the salt, even created a full-blown chapel.
My GODson was sent, by his firm, to work in Poland for a bit and he went to Prague for a long weekend. He raved about it.
Too much family history, in Vienna, for that. But thanks for the suggestion.
where was the Princess Fauxcohantas tonight??
I saw Princess Liawatha sitting on the bench with her other dems, talking to one of them during the speech. She looked less happy than usual. You know, the look she always has like she smelled something bad, had become the “I hate living next to the wastewater plant/paper mill” look.
