Following the passage of the GOP tax reform bill, a number of corporations have announced bonuses and wage increases for its employees, citing the tax cuts as the main reason. One company that handed out one-time bonuses was Home Depot. And the co-founder had some strong words for Democrats who have criticized these bonuses as “crumbs” and dismissed them as PR moves.
Appearing on Fox News Saturday, Bernie Marcus took aim at Democratic leaders, telling host Neil Cavuto that derisive comments about the bonuses will come back to haunt Democrats as it paints them as elitist.
“These are things that the [Nancy] Pelosi and [Chuck] Schumer group don’t have a clue about. It’s why they lost the election, it’s as simple as that,” Marcus said. “[Hillary] Clinton never knew about the real people out there. That’s why they lost the election, and that’s why they’re going to lose the next election for the same reason.”

The problem for Dems is that they stepped a bit too far as they tried to re-define us (the American voters); when Otoken would talk about “that’s not who we are as Americans”, he had no clue who “we” are - just who his teleprompter masters though we should be. By compounding that with gender BS, Hillary lost enough additional Americans to sink her candidacy. Dems play to radical fringes and attempt to normalize those viewpoints; it works in lib states, but not enough (apparently) to win the White House. Most working people don’t care about pseudo-science in terms of global warming or sexual deviants, and having the Dems harangue us to do so isn’t helping them.
Metal Rescue is crap compared to Evaporust. Evaporust is carried at Walmart, many auto parts stores, etc.
HD has a track record of leftie moves and policies.
We usually shop at Lowe's, since it looks like it is oriented more towards the do-it-yourselfer, while Home Depot seems targeted more for the professional handymen and builders. Lowe's also has an automatic 10% discount for military personnel; I don't know if Home Depot offers a similar discount.

My wife knows his stepson through a business association. He’s generally very conservative. The Marcus Foundation have been wonderful benefactors in the Atlanta area. They basically gifted the city the aquarium, have put huge money into Grady hospital, etc.
Maybe after they quit portraying white males as treacherous, drooling morons in their commercials.
