Holy and Righteous God,
How amazing it is to know the One Who has always been and Who forever will be! How grateful we are that You are everlasting. Nothing seems to endure forever except You---Your Name, Your love, Your grace, Your forgiveness, Your mercy, Your truth, Your faithfulness, Your wisdom, Your compassion, Your patience, Your beauty. Father, everything that is good and right, just and true remains forever because You are the eternal God of the universe. How blessed we are to know You, to be loved by You, and to be the recipient of Your fullest gift of salvation. Blessed is Your Holy Name.
Lord, we praise You today for allowing our President to have good success at the Economic Summit in Davos. We keep our eyes focused on You, Father, as the uncovering of lawlessness and devious plots in our government continues. Your Word says that all that is hidden will be revealed. Lord, please let Your light bring truth and revelation to all the dark forces that are seeking to destroy this nation.
We bring before You our concerns for our military men and women. Many of them are experiencing instability in their personal and professional lives. Many who have completed their assignments in war-torn countries, now find themselves unable to cope with their lives that will never be the same. Many are unable to accept themselves and are in tremendous need of the God who loves us all. Help them, Father. Bring them under the cover of Your grace. Bring light to their darkness and strength to their weaknesses.
Lord, we ask Your blessings upon Israel and the Jewish people everywhere. May they be blessed beyond measure and may Israel rejoice in their Maker. We pray for the support of our nation to be extended to Israel and we ask for Your powerful wisdom for her leaders. May America always be a faithful friend.
Repentance is the only way our nation can escape the judgment that is due us. Father, we cannot sit idly by while marriage is redefined, while babies are killed in the womb, while Your Name is driven out of schools and public events, and while Christians are being persecuted both here and abroad. As a small but mighty band of prayer warriors, we stand in the gap for our nation, asking Your forgiveness for these sins and many more, and seeking Your mercy. Save us from ourselves, Lord God. Help us return to You in a powerful way, and make every one of us who loves You be a container of Your grace to this fallen world.
You are our hope, Lord God. Save us from this present evil day, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

FATHER, Your vessels, be they of pewter or crystal, it matters not. ALL will still carry YOU.
Swift justice is sought for Your enemies, the enemies of the nation. We hope to see these evil mortals stripped of their weapons (be they words, bodyguards, or pistols). Remove from them all their ill begotten gains, from furs and silks to oven mitts. America wishes to see them on their knees. The disdain for them as they continue in their daily routine might be justice enough for some as we observe their downfall day after day.
PLEASE, FATHER, our President and his family are needing Your protection in order to complete his task. Offer them solace and respite when the task is done. Your education of this mortal has been seen as Heaven sent for a time such as this. Thank You for Your constant watchful eye and Your wisdom.

How true this is, Lord God; how great is the need for Your powerful Presence in the life of every service member, veteran, military family member and the wounded, especially those with life-long injuries. What these families endure for our sakes has no equal but Jesus' sacrifice for us. Be with each of our military members, and with their officers and generals and Secretary Mattis and his staff who make critical decisions for them, and with their Commander in Chief, that every decision may be informed by Your Spirit and Your Will. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Concerning vklee’s prayer, I am reminded of this: “[Do none of these things] lest the land spew you out when you defile it as it spewed out the nation that was before you.” (Leviticus 18:28 AMP). We pray that You would cleanse our Land by spewing out those whose sins are so great that the Land You created would not be able to tolerate them. We know that our prayers for their salvation have been Your will and that, therefore, You heard us. However, Father, their horrific sins must be judged and cleansed like a cancer before it can destroy any more of our society. I leave this in Your hands, knowing You will do the right thing in the right way, defending the vulnerable.

Father God, we lift up the people in this land who have been bewitched by the enemy. We lift up those who promote the left agenda. We lift up those who follow idols. We lift up those in direct rebellion against You. Father God, we ask that their hearts be softened, their blindness cured, and that they would no longer be entertained by the dark side. Father God, may discernment be poured upon their lives, that they will wake to the personal and the public peril - lest they be destroyed.
