CNN reporting on Nunes memo
its leaking there is real meat in this story....
Are they reporting on the contents of the memo, which is still
classified?
That tells me they are getting ready for a big story that they can’t bury.
You may see more press CYA as the release date approached.
Maybe the intel committee submitted a request to release to CINC five days ago while Schiff was in the men’s room.
Are they trying to frame the narrative with Schiff’s line of thinking (without the other classified documents it references, the American people wouldn’t understand it)?
I for one am amazed the content hasn’t leaked.

No, just speculation what’s in it. However, they are saying the FBI is requesting to see the memo and the House Committee hasn’t agreed yet...that’s something I have not heard thus far. CNN did round out their report by saying it may contain a lot of negative “personal” comments about President Trump and others, but those are “personal” comments, not official positions. They must be trying to soften the blow for when it is released.
They aren’t mentioning how some of the dossier was not written by Steele but they put his name on it then presented it to the court as a reputable source
I saw that myself and was surprised. Then my wife reminded me that it was the wee hours of the morning and this story would probably not be discussed during daylight hours on CNN. She’s never wrong, except for this one time I guess :)
I’m concerned though. Do we know who all actually put together this file? I already heard some dork yesterday on Fox make two statements setting up the narrative. He stated it was written by the R’s and was corrected by some Senator, and then he made the comment about russian bots driving the twitter meme.
That is the tactic CNN and MSNBC will push. This was written by the Republicans and is partisan.
I wonder if Q’s lengthy post on Sunday was the contents of “The Memo”?
No, it appears the angle is it is partisan because the FBI has requested the memo to review and the committee has not permitted it to be shared with the FBI. So in other words, it’s partisan, it’s only allegations and they won’t share with the FBI to allow the FBI to investigate and refute/explain. I have NOT heard anything like what Schiff said, though.
I heard that, too, yesterday, but CNN did not push it. Perhaps it is too damning to use that excuse?
