Diaz-Balart said, “The American people have the right to know a lot of things and everything, but let’s get something straight, I’ve been in public service for three decades now, and when I meet with a constituent, when I meet with an ambassador or if I meet with the head of State, and we close the door on the meeting, there is the obvious expectation that what is said in those meetings is not going to be said in public.”

From the testimony at the Senate hearing the term “sh!thole” was not used. However there was rough language said by people from both sides of aisle. IMHO Durbin lied.

I heard that Tricky-dick Durbin came out with his “assessment” after conferring with a CNN reporter.
Most sickening is this quote from a REPUBLICAN:
