WTF MSM!? NY Times celebrates MLK Day by calling Trump racist multiple times
Conservative Review ^ | January 15, 2018 | Rob Eno

This doesn’t seem random …

NY Times full-bore … Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. To celebrate the day, over the long weekend the New York Times dedicated not one, not two, but three pieces to declaring President Donald Trump a racist. First up we have “Donald Trump’s racism: The definitive list.” Then there’s Charles M. Blow’s piece, “Trump is a racist. Period.” This piece has the helpful URL “trump-racist-shithole.” Then there’s “The heartbeat of racism is denial.” The last one is great: If you deny you are a racist, it means you are one.

Flake-out … When Josef Stalin wasn’t jailing political opponents, he was killing them. Yet that’s the man that Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., is now set to compare President Trump to. In a speech that Flake plans to make this week on the Senate floor, he will equate Trump’s attacks on the media with Stalin. This is just getting absolutely ridiculous.

Raj “whatever-his-name-is” … Speaking of racist, paging Chris Cuomo. Raj Shah is the White House deputy press secretary. He is the person who sent out the original statement regarding the “shithole” comments. Referring to Shah, Cuomo said, “Remember … we went to the White House when it happened, Raj whatever-his-name-is didn’t back off the words.” The Daily Caller has the video.

Until society acknowledges that blacks can, in fact, BE racists, there will be no unity.

It is just like the test for witches.

If they float, they are a witch and are put to death.

If they sink and drown, they are not a witch.

Name-calling is all they’ve got.

While incredibly annoying, it is also quite encouraging.

Means we’re continuing to win.

I've had my problems with MLK from the git go. In fact, someone here at FR recently busted my chops for suggesting that President Trump should release MLK's FBI files. LOL.

MLK was no saint, and the treacle and hagiography surrounding him makes me reach for the insulin bottle.

But I thought his legacy was about racial healing and not picking the scabs of the past. The left is so dishonest, they've dug up King's grave and are using him as a prop for racial grievances and violence.

I don't have a problem with a peaceful color blind society of live and let live. But for the Democrat party that is unacceptable.

I've said it more than once and I''ll say it again: Before the Obamas moved into the White House, the word racism was used mostly in novels or a in a court of law; good manners prevented its use by educators, or people in general, even the segregated South etc. tho 'racist in manner, all races had some respect for each other and certainly that word was rarely in anger.

Then all that changed with a Black family in the White House.....the Obama's were/are the most racist people ever to be elevated to such a role as POTUS and FLOTUS. The rift they encouraged in this country has left a mountain of detritus.

All of the above is debatable of course...just my two-cents from whatever corner of the intersection I was raised on.........

Enough already! I sure hope everyone is ready to save this country from such filth. We better start organizing with an effective GOTV strategy for 2018 and 2020. One thing we need is to be two steps ahead of the commies - not wait until it is too late.
Time to slay these commies and democrat racists once and for all at the polls - both statewide and nationwide.
Remember, Soros alone has donated $13 billion to defeat the America-first agenda. The media has been ordered to take Trump down. We MUST stop this. Never give in and never apologize!

Trump supporters need to get real and start planning now. The DEM party of NO-ideas, NO solutions supporting foreigner over US citizens is a losing strategy.
We have supporters in our ilk (like Satanist Soros) who have plenty of money! Remember, our youth is screwed with Dems in change, so let’s pound this message and recruit more Millennials with the facts. They need to help work on these campaigns for Trump. Let’s do this!!!

Trump supporters need to know that there is an election on Nov. 6, 2018, that could determine whether the president completes his term. I fear many are too uninformed to know this basic fact.

Yea, the American people seem to fall for “conventional wisdom” which says blacks cannot be racist because they lack “power”.

WTF MSM!?

The MSM lost the hearts and minds of the country long ago. Fox News and FN Business is the closest we have to something that connects, and still have moments of great disconnect.

The funny thing is, they still haven’t figured out that the Obama years’ constant cries of racism about anyone and everything have made people turn a deaf ear to this stuff. Maybe the 20% of the population that is hard left cares about it, and the rest of us just tune it out because it’s just white noise at this point.

Oops, is “white noise” a racist dog whistle???

This country has so many substantive problems and the only answer the media and Democrats have to the problems is to call the person solving them a racist.

LOL. When my niece and nephew first moved to an area near the Pine Barrens of NJ, the found out who all the kids were who lived in the Barrens: they were absent on the 1st day of hunting season.

Everyone needs to hear/see today’s speech by pro-life Dr Bernice King from MLK’s own pulpit at Ebeneezer Baptist Church. It made very uncomfortable a lot of liberals who were there for virtue signaling.

This is really ticking me off.
We should be knocking at the NYT door by the millions.
Our side is weak. We will vote but, forget any action.
We’re too busy living the dream to bother with actually fighting to preserve it.
A lying press is treasonous to a free society.
It’s sickening.

Yes, MLK was a womanizer (where's Hollyweird?), but I believe he did some good things for people of color. At least his efforts were peaceful, unlike BLM.

Exactly. Womanizer or not, MLK had 10 times the class and character that his modern day counterparts do.

MLK was a unifier, not a divider. He didn't wallow in hatred, or use it as a tool to advance himself, like many leaders in the black movement do today.

It's sad to see some here gratuitously disparage the man. Everyone needs their heroes, and every hero is ultimately a flawed and fallible man. Our own President is a prime example. Some could argue that he has been a womanizer.

On balance, MLK towers above his successors. Most of them have totally abandoned MLKs methods and attitude.

And MLK paid the ultimate price for his peaceful activism.

Martin Luther King deserves a place—despite all his flaws—in the pantheon of American heroes...
