... So, here we are. Who do we believe: the President of the United States or a sitting Democratic senator -- and loads of media outlets (including CNN) that have confirmed that Trump used the word "shithole" to describe certain countries that were sending immigrants to the US?
We are now certain to see the disagreement play out.
The problem here for Trump is that he has a massive -- the biggest! -- credibility problem of his own making.
Trump's casual relationship with the truth extends back well before he became President. His claims about Mexico sending "rapists" and "criminals" across the border, his insistence that he saw Muslims celebrating in northern New Jersey on the night of September 11, 2001, his suggestion that Sen. Ted Cruz's father might have been involved in the assassination of President John Kennedy, his alleged initial support for the war in Iraq, his longtime belief that President Barack Obama was not born in this country -- all provably false.
In short: Nothing in Trump's political or professional life lends him the sort of credibility that should convince you he didn't say what we all know he said on Thursday in the Oval Office. In fact, everything we know from even the most surface-level study of Trump's 71 years on Earth suggests he absolutely, 100% said "s-hole countries."

To be fair, Somalia and Haiti would be stunningly beautiful countries if they weren't turned into shit holes by the Somalis and Haitians who live there.
Sorry CNN, if there is no video, it did not happen.
Denied.
We let people in from sh!thole countries so they can vote for sh!thole democrats who in turn will make America a sh!thole. QED.
Why do you ask stupid questions?
Bottom line is Trump doesn’t want millions of immigrants from shithole countries, rats would prefer he didn’t say so. I think we all know where the majority of Americans stand on this. Dreamers deal negotiations now dead and will only be revived when rats come, hat in hand, ready to deal.
Trump amazes me every day. All of the wailing and crying by dims only reinforces that they’re talking about over running the country with unskilled indigents that American taxpayers will have to support. You would think the rats and MSM stooges could remember why Trump was elected.
Confirmed based on what ... that single Rat senator? The author is a s***-for-brains.
This headline should read “Why no one should believe #fakenews CNN”....
A super-elitist uses the terms developed/developing nation.
It’s not whether he said it or not. It’s whether or not people think the overall message the media keeps repeating is true.
I’d guess a lot of voters from the start felt this was true about those countries. A lot of others never thought about it but now think “Trump’s right. Why do we want immigrants from those countries?”.
If his goal was to get people to think about who the Ds want to let into the country, the media is helping a lot. It wouldn’t be the first time Trump started a controversy to get the media to go 24/7 with the message he wanted people to hear. Simply saying “we want to allow in the best people” (as he’s said many times) would not have achieved wall-to-wall coverage getting people to think about who immigrants are and which would benefit the US.
I have always thought it was more appropriate to combine them, as in “Third World Sh*thole”. I now see that I was being redundant.
CaCastan is the worst.
Irrelevant
Exactly!
CNN is fake news, Chris Sleazy is a faggot.
LOL! Great point - do they all want to move here because their home countries are too nice?
It shows how out of touch the MSM are that they think this hurts the President; most voters whose minds aren't already made up about him are saying to themselves, "I hate to admit it ... but he's right, they are shitholes."
The better question is...why should any serious person get their panties in a knot about it?
Sorry but CNN is never to be believed on anything.
The #FakeNews Media are enemies of the people. Durbin is with them.
