I’m shocked that the President would use that kind of language. I agree with the sentiment, however.
When those people from desperately poor third world countries enter the US illegally, they bring all their problems with them. They are uneducated, often illiterate, and have not been socialized to function in a first world society. They set up ghettos that replicate the conditions in their own countries.
Allowing millions of them to invade our country is not the answer. The only real solution is to bring development, civilization, and education to their countries. If those “s-hole” countries are improved, people won’t be as motivated to invade the US in the mistaken belief that they’ll have riches just by being here.
If the countries were awesome with rich cultural experiences, plentiful food and work, and functioning governments responsive to their citizenry, nobody would want to leave.
