President Trump reportedly complained during a Thursday meeting with lawmakers about immigrants from “shithole” countries coming to America.
The Washington Post quoted Trump, based on a source who was in the meeting, saying:
“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” The president was specifically referring to immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries and a proposal to restore protections to them.
The lawmakers in the meeting were Lindsey Graham and Dick Durbin. The Post notes:
Graham and Durbin thought they would be meeting with Trump alone and were surprised to find immigration hard-liners such as Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), at the meeting. The meeting was impromptu and came after phone calls this morning, Capitol Hill aides said. The administration is working on a bipartisan immigration deal which seeks to permanently implement DACA and establish robust border security. Protections for immigrants and the visa lottery will likely take a hit as part of the deal. The White House has indicated that a bipartisan deal has not been reached, but they are “hopeful” a deal will be brokered soon.
UPDATE: In a statement, the White House does not deny that the president said the above quote behind closed doors.

I’m shocked that the President would use that kind of language. I agree with the sentiment, however.
When those people from desperately poor third world countries enter the US illegally, they bring all their problems with them. They are uneducated, often illiterate, and have not been socialized to function in a first world society. They set up ghettos that replicate the conditions in their own countries.
Allowing millions of them to invade our country is not the answer. The only real solution is to bring development, civilization, and education to their countries. If those “s-hole” countries are improved, people won’t be as motivated to invade the US in the mistaken belief that they’ll have riches just by being here.
Though I doubt that term was actually used, merely projected by a mad liberal.
I’ve certainly been tempted to use occasionally, especially when I learn of an apartment fire generated when a Somali “immigrant” set fire to the building while cooking an entire goat on top of a burner, hair skin and ALL!
If the countries were awesome with rich cultural experiences, plentiful food and work, and functioning governments responsive to their citizenry, nobody would want to leave.

I’ve had the same question for decades. The answer is the Democrats keep importing them to get votes and to turn a blind eye to political corruption. They dilute the votes of law abiding and productive Americans.
I certainly hope Trump is upset about it.
If the Jews or Chinese or any reasonably civilized people were running it, Somalia would be one of the richest countries in Africa. The UN should govern it as a refugee resettlement destination and let them enjoy all the benefits of multiculturalism. They have no business exporting their population all over the world.

The Dems are getting killed over their opposition to tax reform, it’s suicidial for them to oppose MAGA, they can’t find any collusion or evidence of mental incapacity. And President Trump is locking up a lot of the coveted white vote.
In short, the Dems have nothing. They’re desperate. Their only electoral hope in 2018 depends on getting a lot of minorities to turn out.
So, what better way to whip up those minorities than by painting the President as a racist? Plant a fake vulgar story, and the outrage will be so great that no one will even have time to notice it’s a fraud!
