When Hollywoods most prestigious organization, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) the group of nearly 7,000 actors, directors and other industry types who dole out the Oscars expelled Harvey Weinstein on Oct. 14, audiences applauded. But by acting so swiftly, a mere nine days after the New York Times first reported allegations of sexual assault against the movie producer, the outfit now finds itself facing a dilemma.
Put simply: What to do with the rest of them?
Harvey opened the floodgates, said one male Academy member. Now the Academys drowning in a tide of st. They dont know what hit them.
What hit, of course, were more alleged horror stories about so many other members: Kevin Spacey assaulting multiple young men, Dustin Hoffman sticking his hands in womens pants, director Brett Ratner forcing himself on actresses. Ben Affleck seen on video groping a female host on Total Request Live. Screenwriter James Toback accused of sexual misdeeds by nearly 40 women. (As of this past Tuesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorneys Office said it is considering criminal charges in five cases against Toback. He, Spacey, Hoffman and Ratner deny the claims against them.)

It's worth going to the source link to read the whole thing for all the schadenfreude.
Does this have anything to do with the Film Actors Guild?
Love it when the liberals eat their own.
Meryl Streep knew about Weistein. They all knew.
Harvey opened the floodgates, said one male Academy member. Now the Academys drowning in a tide of st. They dont know what hit them. They are not floating in it, they are the turds that are floating on top of a sea of poo water..They are all acting like slaves - especially Meryl Streep. They are slaves to the glitter that that coats everything in hollywood.
They should pour Bannon a drink and adopt him because he is as unkempt and seedy looking as Weinstein was.
Liberal Kristallnacht on fellow liberals.

Realty is a bitch.
As I said at the time, Harvey Weinstein will be producing movies within 18 months and will get a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy (to a standing ovation) within three years, if not sooner.
They are all so brave when they get together in a room together...so I don’t doubt they “regret” it.
Am I a bad person for being happy over their misery?
Hollywood choose side in the culture war. Normal Americans or every deviant known to man. They choose to go with the dark side and it turned out to be a cancer eating them alive.
So how was Harvey? Pretty good. I got a lifetime job and he got two minutes.
Well, when your whole industry is an ocean of s—t, don’t be surprised when you have s—t tides.
Even Chuck Norris. :(
They signaled their virtue by getting rid of Weinstein, who they loved, and now are upset that people want them to get rid of other scumbags they love. Hey I already signaled my virtue, you all saw me show that Im a good guy. why do I have to keep doing this to my friends?
The academy is putting on a shoe - sexual abuse police in the movie industry - that doesn’t belong on their foot; it belongs on the movie makers feet and that is where the social pressure should be directed; as in “will you hire this perv again?”.
People that pretend to be someone else their entire lives should never be taken seriously....
Translation: We only did it to get rid of Roy Moore.
Way back in September when Hugh Hefner died, Hollywood lionized his, "liberation" of attitudes about sex and his, "empowerment" of women. Women want free birth control and abortions from society yet they don't want to be treated as sex objects? They want to use sex to get ahead if they want to but not if a man wants to use sex in the way Bill Clinton did...Wait, is that right? It's impossible to keep up with the ever changing, "gender" issues.
Sounds just like the Baseball Hall of Fame. They (rightfully) turned down the best hitter of all-time for gambling but now they’ve gone crazy judging the roiders.
We have a Hall of Fame that doesn’t recognize their all-time hit champion, all-time home run champion, a seven-time Cy Young winner, a batter with 500 homers *and* 3,000 hits, plus they’re considering expelling early players who acted overtly racist and the question becomes “What so special about a Hall of Fame with the best players excluded?”
