It’s not exactly breaking news that Michael Wolff believes that Donald Trump is unfit to be President of the United States. That’s the entire thrust of his “Fire and Fury.”
But appearing on Morning Joe today, Wolff used a colorful phrase in describing Trump, one that epitomized his low opinion the man. Asked by Joe Scarborough whether Trump was “mentally fit” to be president, Wolff responded:
“Every time you speak to him, you think: this is a wingnut. There is something really alarming in ways that you cannot even begin to describe. It’s like you’re riveted to the seat.”

Wolff meant it as an insult, but some of us would be happy to learn that Pres. Trump is a wingnut, to the extent it means he’s a solid conservative!

Michael Wolff, a known despicable liberal skunk, was knowingly given access to the white House. Suspect Steve Bannon, who was given his great opportunity to shape and be part of history, was in the process of failing, losing power, and was angry and vengeful. Bannon is a classic example of the Peter principle. That principle states the climbers ultimately reach their level of incompetence. Bannon for psychological and perhaps intellectual limitations was not able to exercise his rare, unique opportunity. He, in his pique,knowingly let the skunk into the house.
Don’t do that. Every time I see that insignia I will crack up laughing now.

Wolff’s imagination has definitely got the best of him. He no longer can distinguish the real from the surreal. Worse, as a writer, he doesn’t care.
Michael should be such an expert on “wingnuts”. I seriously doubt if one person in three can accurately describe an actual wingnut, which is a a lug that can be tightened by fingertips on a threaded bolt.
