Was that actually Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe today, or had someone hacked into the MSNBC feed and inserted a parody bit about elitist, Trump-hating snobs?

“I had some friends that went to Paris over the holiday, and they said they were just viscerally embarrassed to be Americans. They said it was the first time that it was sort of chilling. That they didn’t even want to share where they were from.”

An acquaintance of mine immigrated to the US from France. She distanced me after Hillary lost and she stayed home from work and cried for several days.
Having only been here for 14 years, she didn’t understand our political process.
The straw that really pissed her off was when she said to me, “America needs to be like France.”
I responded that, “France would be speaking German if it were not for US rescuing them in WWI and WWII.” I continued, “If you like France so much, why are you here in America?”
She now avoids me like the plague.
Was that before or after they were being raped or shot at by muslim animals?
My conclusion is, Mika and her friends are LOSERS.
Liberals are always somewhat embarrassed of their country, but I suppose being “viscerally” embarrassed is like extra super duper embarrassed.
U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell was speaking at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland. The former Archbishop or Canterbury asked whether plans for a war in Iraq was really an example of “empire building” and “hard power” by President George Bush. Powell answered that the U.S. has sent many young men and women to fight in foreign lands but has never asked for any more land than is enough in which to bury those who did not return.
Good post. Being an American is def more than being born here. It most def is a state of mind. However there are people here who just don’t like what this country stands for.
My next door neighbor, a Mexican guy who crossed the border illegally, makes 6 figures at amazon. He is currently working on a ph.d. He has a viceral hatred for this country. He is teaching his kids that they are Mexicans, not Americans. Years ago before I knew his stance on this glorious country, we were drinking at my house during a neighborhood bar b q. We got into a discussion about the constitution. As I tried to explain to him the genius of the document he simply stated that “your” constitution is complete bullshit. The 2nd amendment is archaic and that he will never understand our facination with guns. I kicked him out of our house and have not spoken more than 3 words to the scumbag. We went from going on vacation with them to barely even aknowledging each other families. I’ve told my wife that if they came to my door needing ANYTHING, I’d slam the door in their face and I’d expect her to do the same. If that makes me bad person, so be it.

He doesn’t like the Second Amendment? So I suppose that if the life of one of his children were being threatened, he would send you and your weapon away if you tried to protect the kid.
Don’t feel bad about dissing your neighbors; I didn’t speak to my MIL for two years after she voted for Obama. (Then she got really sick and I had to step up, help out, and try not to think about her vote.)
Maybe her “friends” need to move to somewhere where they can be proud of. Say, North Korea, Cuba or France.
