Following the release of excerpts from a forthcoming book in which former White House strategist Steve Bannon unleashed on his former colleagues, President Donald Trump issued a scathing response Wednesday.
According to NBC News, the new book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, was written by columnist Michael Wolff.
Bannon is quoted as criticizing individuals close to the president, including Donald Trump Jr., calling his controversial meeting with a Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign both treasonous and unpatriotic.

The Mooch called Bannon right - he’s a fat slob who would eat out his own anus if he could.
The Mooch was a patriot and committed to MAGA. He saw through this deceiver
I guess Bannon’s not our dreamboat anymore.
Bannon went from Trump insider to outsider and book-selling scandal monger in a very short time.
I guess Bannon believed his own propaganda.
Within a year Bannon will be forgotten. UNLESS he’s now helping Mueller.
I suspect fake news. Though nepotism is generally not a guarantor of good order and discipline.
original source of alleged Trump statement comes from CNN but they have no link to said statement and I can’t find it on whitehouse.gov
Seems like Trump would have tweeted it. Guess we’ll have to wait for today’s press briefing as I’m sure the subject will be brought up by the MSM
there are four threads on this already on the front page.
Pretty much an understatement at this point! Then again, the whole story might be BS fake news. Keep your powder dry.
I’m convinced FR has a number of trolls who fail to check for acceptable (read non-fake-news) sources.
I dont know what to make you of this. It does appear Bannon used the word treasonous. A huge betrayal. He just handed the Rats and the MSM
a nuke.
It's not Bannon's book!
it's from this snake head....
Michael Wolff is an American author, essayist, and journalist who is a regular columnist and contributor to USA Today, The Hollywood Reporter, and the UK edition of GQ.
OK that anus comment was hilarious. Holy s—t that was funny.
The Mooch?
there is that. it could be made up. But Bannon was as leaky as a sieve when he was in the administration, so that he’s talking to the left press now that he’s out should not be shocking.
He’s out for himself. He wants his revolution to outlive Trump’s regime. Keep the Fascist Future dream alive by always idealizing the possibilities, never dwelling in the realities.
Say what you will about Bannon, and some of the criticisms of him are correct, hes one of the leaders of the fight against RINOs and GIP swamp creatures. And those are the ones who have given the president the most trouble.
There is a time and place for everything. Now is not the time to be attacking him. Not when he’s going after the swamp creatures.
And don’t tell me about Alabama. Moore’s lack of political skills, the mainstream media, McConnell and a horribly run campaign cost the Republicans that seat. Strange wouldn’t hve won it either.
Lets drain the swamp. Then we can take care of Bannon.
Here is an example of what Wolff puts in Bannon's mouth:
Bannon went on, Wolff writes, to say that if any such meeting had to take place, it should have been set up in a Holiday Inn in Manchester, New Hampshire, with your lawyers who meet with these people. Any information, he said, could then be dump[ed] down to Breitbart or something like that, or maybe some other more legitimate publication.
Frankly, those words do not sound like Bannon. . . especially from a man who is working for Breitbart as its Executive Editor. He would NOT disparage the company he works for with faint praise, suggesting "some other more legitimate publication" would be a better place to send such a bombshell of a scoop.
De-legitimizing Breitbart in a quote in a book is absurd. Bannon is no-slouch as a writer. Why does he talk to this author? This book sounds like a Liberal Trump hater's wet dream. . . with the timing of its release really suspicious. . . as are the words.
For Wolff to put these words in Bannon's mouth is also disingenuous: "He insists that he knows no Russians, will not be a witness, will not hire a lawyer and will not appear on national television answering questions."
Another claim that sounds strange is this: "He told the Guardian in November that to research the book, he showed up at the White House with no agenda but wanting to find out what the insiders were really thinking and feeling. He enjoyed extraordinary access to Trump and senior officials and advisers, he said, sometimes at critical moments of the fledgling presidency.

Oh, yeah yeah yeah! Forgot.
We are in the midst of an information WAR. They are at the brink and doing everything in their power to save themselves from dying against a wall or by swinging from a rope for HIGH TREASON. Quit helping the enemy out.
